Lau Lan was sipping the juice which Biyu freshly prepared for him, sitting on the living room couch when he saw Xian coming there with a delighted face. "Xian, where were you last night?," asked Lau Lan and put the glass on the table.

Xian sat opposite to him. "I was with Mishi in the office last night. Rain was pouring heavily so we decided to stay." Xian gave him the reason. He looked around; asked about his mom, Mark, Yin and Lan Zhan.

"Lan Zhan is in the other city to solve some cases. Mom is doing a morning walk in the garden. Mark is getting ready for the office, so is Yun." Lau Lan told Xian.

"I should also get ready," murmured Xian and got up from the couch when Lau Lan stopped Xian. He raised his head to look at him. "Don't think about your father anymore. Don't ruin your life because of that. Mom will be affected more than you if she will get to know about this." Lau Lan suggested Xian.

"Don't worry. I won't. Thanks for your concern." Xian assured him and then walked towards his room. Lau Lan picked the glass and drank the remaining juice.

Yin went to the garden to have a walk with aunt Biyu who was watering the plants. "Aunty, let me help you," offered Yin and took the water pipe from her hand.

"Are you good now?," asked Biyu while looking at Yin.

Yin continued watering the plants and then answered. "Yeah, I'm good now. From today I'll join the work too. Thank you aunty for giving the love which I don't even deserve. I tried hurting everyone, still this family is still with me, protecting me and loving me." Her voice trembled and she stopped speaking further.

Biyu closed the water tap. "Don't think about the past. Past has gone long ago. Let's go in, breakfast must've been prepared by now." Biyu gestured to Yin to go with her inside the house.

Yin helped the maid in placing plates and bowls on the dining table when Mark came there. Yin averted her gaze from Mark. Mark greeted his mother and then Lau Lan. He sat beside his mother while Yin sat opposite to him but she tried ignoring him as much as possible.

The breakfast was being served to them when Xian came and greeted them. He quickly pulled out the chair beside Lau and told the maid to serve him really quick. "Why are you in so much hurry?," asked Biyu.

"Meeting." Answered Xian and started eating. While eating he talked with Mark about the construction site where they were planning to construct a five star hotel. Lau was listening to their talks very seriously when his phone buzzed.

He answered his call, excusing himself. "Lau, don't tell Xian anything right now. I was informed that Bai has been released on 2 days bail," said Lan Zhan.

"What? How?," asked Lau.

"That I can't explain to you now," stated Lan Zhan. Lau rubbed his forehead because of worriedness. He then asked, "What about her husband?"

"He isn't released. He's in jail," murmured Lan Zhan. "Listen, Lau. Bai can approach Mishi. Now how will you handle this?," inquired Lan Zhan.

"I should tell Xian. Only he can do something." Lau Lan told Lan Zhan.

"You know why I didn't call him. He will directly go to her house and then god knows what he will do," muttered Lan Zhan. Lau Lan understood and assured him that he will check the things.

"Hmm. I've told my colleagues to keep checking on her." Lan Zhan stated. "Umm, yeah that's good. Okay, I'm hanging up. See you later," saying this Lau hung up. He went back to the dining table and continued eating his breakfast.

After they finished they left for their workplaces while Lau called Mishi. Mishi answered his call and greeted him a good morning. "Mishi, it's good to hear your energetic voice. When will you come home?," asked Lau.

"Umm. I've to marry him first. By next week a small ring ceremony and then marriage," answered Mishi. Shui Zhang was smiling listening to Mishi's talks.

"Hmm. It's good. We all are excited to see you two be happily married. Yin is also recovering but she still blames herself for the things which happened with you two. But now she doesn't have any suicidal thoughts," said Lau.

"It's good to hear this. I hope she will soon accept Mark's feelings for her. That way they both will be happy," Mishi said with a delighted look.

"Well, Mishi, try going home early. I mean you shouldn't stress yourself too much," said Lau. Mishi told him not to worry and said it's the matter of only 4-5 days.

"Okay, tell Chang that I miss him so much. Mom also missed him," murmured Lau. Mishi told him not to worry as he would come to meet them in the evening. Lau was happy to hear this. After some time he hung up the call and then left for the hospital.

"So you are getting married?," asked Shui Zhang while driving the car.

"Yes uncle." Replied Mishi. A smile carved over on her lips.

"It's good. The guy must be lucky to have such a nice girl. I wish you a lot of happiness." Shui Zhang said and turned the car.

"Thanks uncle. You're also invited in my marriage and you've to come at any cost else I'll be angry," murmured Mishi. Shui Zhang laughed. "Of course. I'll come to give blessings to you and your husband." Assured Shui Zhang. Mishi smiled and looked out of the window.

Yuwan's sleep broke in the morning and he found Xia was sleeping close to him. He smiled and got up from the bed. Opening his luggage, he took out the clothes and went inside the washroom.

When he came out after having a good bath he saw Xia was sitting on the bed with her hair all over her face. "Go in. Freshen up as we have to go then," murmured Yuwan. Xia nodded and got up from the bed. Searching for a dress from inside her luggage she walked inside the washroom.

Yuwan called their trip guide, Zing Yao. After asking him about the day trip he cut the call and ordered breakfast for them. The room service came there after 15 minutes with morning breakfast. Yuwan thanked her and set the plates on the table. By then Xia came out of the washroom.

She sat beside him on the sofa and thanked him for ordering the breakfast. Both started eating when Yuwan told her about their day trip.

"Umm. I heard the waterways are constructed orderly there in ancient times," said Xia while chewing her food. Yuwan nodded and told her that Lijiang is a world heritage site.

"We will have a lot of fun there," murmured Xia with food stuffed inside her mouth. Yuwan smiled hearing her. After they were finished, Xia brushed her hair, put on some light makeup and they then both left the hotel.

Their guide was waiting for them outside the hotel. After introducing each other they left for the heritage site. There were many shops too from where Yuwan bought a hat for them as the scorching sun rays were falling.

The water was clean unlike the Beijing City river water and they found the atmosphere really calm there. The old architecture of the town was attractive with narrow lanes. Ying Zao clicked their pics at some beautiful places.

Xia was happily jumping here and there while Yuwan was laughing seeing her. "You will get hurt at this rate," muttered Yuwan. "I won't," said Xia.

"Yuwan- Xia, we will meet at the snack street in the later evening. It was a happy meet," the guide said. Xia and Yuwan thanked him. From there they went to the town shopping area. Xia bought clothes for Yuwan and two shirts for Qiang too.

"You should buy for yourself. I have many clothes in the house," said Yuwan.

"But these are different. You can't understand this," murmured Xia and paid the money to the shopkeeper. They both enjoyed till noon and then went to a restaurant.

Ordering the meals there, Yuwan found the place was quite calm with many couples around there. The light music in the background was soothing. Xia was looking around when she saw a couple kissing. She averted her gaze and looked at Yuwan.

"I've ordered a veg meal," said Yuwan, pulling out the chair. Xia nodded and looked out of the big glass window. Yuwan was noticing her gestures but kept mum till their orders reached there. Yuwan broke the ice and said, "Xia, I'll try my best in this relationship of ours. The circumstances weren't good but now we both are couples so let's hold each other till the end of our life. I'll give you as much happiness as you deserve not only as a husband but also as a best friend."

Xia was overwhelmed hearing his talks. Both smiled looking at each other and then continued eating.
