Mishi kissed the knuckles of Xian's hands. "Don't lie to me about anything. You are my soul, because of you I smile and when you cry like that it makes my heart ache." Mishi expressed her feelings towards Xian and caressed his left face.

"Thanks for loving me and understanding me. Thanks for staying by my side," murmured Xian with a gentle smile and again laid his head on her shoulder. Mishi felt relieved. She then asked, "why isn't the generator working? You should call…"

Xian cut her words and said, "let it be. I'm liking this more. I can be assured that even in darkness you're with me." Mishi caressed his back gently and then looked out of the big glass window. "The rain isn't stopping," murmured Mishi and then picked her phone.

"Message Chang that you won't go home today," Xian said in a deep and low voice. Mishi asked him the reason.

"The rain won't stop and I don't want you to go. I want to be with tonight." Xian whispered. Mishi messaged Chang that she won't come home as she is with Xian and put the phone on the table.

"I did the message. Wait let me sit comfortably, then you can rest your head on my lap," said Mishi to Xian. Xian raised his head from Mishi's shoulder. Mishi took out the rubber band from her pocket and tied her hair. She then gestured to Xian to rest his head on her lap.

Xian smiled and put off his shoes. He comfortably laid down on the couch with his head on Mishi's lap. Mishi lovingly caressed his head with one of her hands. "Your touch is so soothing," murmured Xian. A gentle smile carved on his lips.

"Close your eyes and take a good sleep," said Mishi. Xian looked at her and asked, "won't your leg pain?" Mishi shook her head in refusal. "Now close your eyes." Ordered Mishi. Xian immediately closed his eyes.

After a while Xian fell to sleep while Mishi kept caressing his head. She stared at his face for a while which was visible because of the lights coming from the outside. She then touched his eyebrows and then with a finger traversed his jawline, stopping just below the lips. She touched his lips for a while.

"Ahh, what am I imagining? Let him sleep," murmured Mishi and put her finger back when Xian held her hand. "Xian, you weren't sleeping," said Mishi with a startled look.

"How can I when you're touching my face in such a way. I felt butterflies in my stomach," murmured Xian and raised his head. He turned to her and leaned closer.

Mishi averted her gaze from him. Unknowingly her heart beat raised seeing Xian closer to her. It heals happened earlier but not this way. "I was just...just….," stammered Mishi. Xian put his one hand behind her neck and with the other hand slowly turned her face towards him.

"Why are you looking away?," asked Xian.

"Nothing. I was checking if rain stopped or not," Mishi answered in a low voice. Xian with his one thumb touched Mishi's lips and asked, "you know what will happen next?" Xuan got further closer to her.

Mishi looked into his eyes but didn't say anything. "Why are you getting nervous?" Murmured Xian and laughed slightly.

"I'm not nervous," replied Mishi instantly. Xian gently pulled Mishi towards him and kissed her soft lips. He kept kissing her while Mishi rested her hands on his chest. Xian went further to her jawline and then again came back to her lips. After sometime they both parted with each other, taking the oxygen in.

"I don't want to go further. Let's sleep tight ," whispered Xian looking into Mishi's eyes and then pulled her down on the couch. Mishi hugged him and they both laid down on the long couch there.

Yuwan and Xia reached the Lijiang city. They checked into the hotel. Xia was more nervous as this was the first time she was going to stay with Yuwan in the same room.

"Xia, it's good that we had our dinner earlier. Let's sleep and tomorrow I'll take you to some wonderful places." Said Yuwan. Xia nodded and looked around her suite. The bed was decorated with roses and the size was intentionally kept small; it felt to her.

Yuwan looked at the bed and said, "Let's sleep. Don't worry I won't eat you. Since we are married, let's start with being comfortable with each other." Xia smiled hearing him and felt a bit comfortable. He put off the slippers; went to the other side of bed and laid down on it.

Xia too stepped ahead and laid opposite to him. Yuwan switched off the lights and in that place turned on the lamp beside their bed whose light was dim. He turned his back to Xia and after a while fell to sleep.

Xia looked at his back. "It's so awkward. Despite knowing each other, I'm feeling awkward. But it's true we are married now so we should try to be comfortable around each other." Thought Xia in her mind while looking at the ceiling.

She tossed and turned the entire night on the bed as it was getting difficult for her to sleep. She got up and sat on the bed. Turning her eyes to Yuwan she murmured, "How can he sleep so comfortably?"

Xia then got up from the bed and went to the balcony. A cool breeze was blowing there which made her happy. She found that place is indeed beautiful, aloof from the noises and calmness all around. She looked at the night sky and saw numerous glowing stars.

"Hmm...The atmosphere here is quite clean," murmured Xia and sighed. She rested herself on the wooden chair there when Yuwan came there.

"Yuwan" whispered Xia and got up from the chair. "You were sleeping. Did I disturb you?," asked Xia nervously.

"No. I turned to look and you weren't there. I was scared thinking you would run away," stated Yuwan and gestured to her to sit.

"Why would I run away?," questioned Xia and comfortably sat on the chair. Yuwan sat on the other chair opposite to her. "I'm kidding. Don't take it seriously," said Yuwan with a gentle smile on his lips.

"See how calm the atmosphere is here. So many stars are visible in the night sky." Xia said with a delighted face. Yuwan nodded at her. The two kept talking with each other till the late night.
