Mishi and Xian returned home when the housemaid told them that Mark is sick. They both rushed to Mark's room and found Xia there.

"Xia," mumbled Mishi.

Xia turned to look and got up from the chair. Xian too entered the room. He went towards Mark and touched his forehead. "What happened to him?," asked Xian.

"Xian, I don't know how he got the injury. I called him in the Subway. We had a chat for a while when he got the fever. I called my friend who is a doctor. She told me that he got a fever because of the injury and he will be fine in a day or two," explained Xia.

"Thank you Xia. We don't even know about this," muttered Mishi in a low voice. Xia told her not to thank her. Xian also thanked Xia and told her to stay in their house for a night as it was dark outside. Mishi agreed with Xian and took Xia from there.

Xian caressed Mark's head lovingly. "Why do you keep things to yourself? You always are ready to solve everyone's problem and don't think about yourself. You didn't even tell me. I know Yin is bothering you. Sorry, for not taking care of you but I promise I will do the things right because I've started every single thing," murmured Xian.

He took the hands of Mark in his and kissed them. Mishi came there after a while and saw Xian holding Mark's hands. She walked near him and put her hand on Xian's shoulder. Without even turning back, Xian recognised Mishi's touch.

"Mishi, he always does this. He hides his pain and always tries to make everyone happy around him," murmured Xian.

"He's really a nice brother. He will wake up in a while. I'm preparing some soup for him. Take care of him till then," mumbled Mishi and left the room. Xia came for water in the kitchen. Mishi took out a bottle from the fridge and poured the water in the tumbler. Xia thanked her while Mishi started preparing for the soup.

"Mark is a good man. I think you should forgive Yin," muttered Xia. Mishi, who was looking inside a cabinet, turned to her. With thousands of questions in her eyes Mishi asked, "What do you mean?"

"Mark loves Yin a lot. Well I proposed to him today to date me but he refused saying that he loves someone and that's none other Yin," muttered Xia and sipped the water.

Mishi got worried. "Wait, how do you know that Mark loves Yin?," questioned Mishi.

"You don't need to know," answered Xia with a smile.

"But he told me that he gave up on her the day she was sentenced to 7 years term. I thought…" Mishi didn't complete her words and stopped speaking further.

"I don't know. He hides everything from his family I guess. Talk with him once he will be fine. I'm not a part of your family so I can just advise you. Thanks for the water Mishi," mumbled Xia and left the kitchen. She started preparing soup for Mark.

In the room, Mark woke up and saw Xian there. He tried sitting when Xian told me to just lay down.

"Why are you here? How was your date?," asked Mark with a smile.

"Hmm...that was good. But tell me what happened to you? Why didn't you call me?," asked Xian with a worried look.

"Ah that's a minor injury. I was driving when a kid came in front of the car and to save him I turned it to the other side and got a hit. Nothing serious," mumbled Mark with a smile.

"Did you go to meet Yin?," asked Xian with a serious look. "Don't try to lie," mumbled Xian.

Mishi was outside Mark's door and was going to knock when she stopped.

Mark looked at him. "Yes, I thought of meeting her.I told her that I'll wait for her even if she gets old. She told me that I should forget about her because she never liked me and we can never be together. She was crying but she didn't tell the truth again about her feelings for me. I was in stress so I drove at a quite high speed. But I'm fine." Mark narrated the entire incident.

"Don't you think it's all because of me? Yin never thought of killing Mishi if I would've talked with her nicely. I forgot that she has a family too and see what happened. Yin is guilty of what she has done with Mishi," mumbled Xian.

"Don't talk with Mishi about this. She has also suffered a lot. It's fine Xian. I'm good you know." Mark said with a smile, tried convincing Xian. Mishi happened to hear the talk from outside so she knocked at the door, thus interrupting both of them. They both got quiet when Mishi entered the room.

"Mark, I've made a soup for you. Have this soup and you'll feel good," murmured Mishi and put the tray on the bedside table. Mark thanked her and picked the tray and started sipping the soup.

Mishi sat there in a chair. "You should've called us when you got injured," muttered Mishi. Mark looked at her and said, "it's not a serious thing. Today was your first date so I don't want that to be ruined," mumbled Mark and smiled.

"Btw where are those two?," asked Xian looking at Mark.

"With their girlfriends. Liling has returned from the States and Mei Fen has finally got a leave from her work," murmured Mark and smiled.

"They have girlfriends too? I never knew about this," mumbled Mishi and crossed her arms.

"Mei Fen is quite a dangerous girl. She slapped Lan Zhan last time when he lied to her about being busy in a meeting," mumbled Xian and laughed. Mark too laughed with him.

"Why she slapped him?," asked Mishi.

"Mishi, he was partying with his work colleagues and didn't answer Mei Fen calls. There were fifty missed calls from Mei Fen. Then she got to know about this with one of her juniors who was in the party. Lan Zhan next morning arrived at his home and saw Mei Fen there. She asked him why he didn't pick the calls and he thought she would kill her so he lied. In turn he got a slap from her. Even I'm afraid of her" Saying this Xian started laughing.

"One shouldn't lie to his partner in any situation," said a voice.

"Mei Fen," murmured Mark. Xian and Mishi got up from the chair. Xian smiled seeing her and went to her. They gave hugs to each other.

"Xian, why did you tell Mishi about this?," asked Lan Zhan annoyingly.

"You don't want her to know?," asked Mei Fen, glaring at Lan Zhan. Mark and Xian were giggling seeing this. Mei Fen turned to Mishi and smiled. She walked to her and tightly hugged her. "So, you were the girl who slapped Xian eight years ago," muttered Mei Fan.

Hearing this Mark and Lan Zhan laughed loudly. "Hey, why are you recalling the past things?," mumbled Xian and made a face. Mei Fen released the hug and said, "I didn't say anything wrong." She then walked towards Mark and hugged him, patted his back. "Stay safe boy," mumbled Mei Fen and got back.

"Ahh, finally the house is looking complete. I'm missing Lau's presence," murmured Xian.

"Haha, Liling must be treating him nicely. He has got the sweetest girlfriend," mumbled Lan Zhan and smiled. Mei Fen glared at him. "I didn't mean that," said Lan Zhan in a low voice.

"Mishi, why don't we go and prepare for the dinner?," mumbled Mei Fen with a smile.

"First you should freshen up. Let me take you to my room, " murmured Mishi. Mei Fen nodded and they left from there. Once they were gone Lan Zhan looked at Mark.

"Why didn't you call? Lau Lan will scold you a lot," mumbled Lan Zhan and sat on the sofa there. Mark smiled hearing this.

"Well, I'm excited to see Lau Lan. He always seems like a serious type of guy. But in front of Liling he acts all lovey dovey." Lan Zhan laughed saying this and looked at Xian & Mark.

"Now, he will be on the next level. After two years, Linling has returned so he must be like the most romantic man on this earth," murmured Xian.

"Xian, you need those skills for Mishi. Talking about this, How was your date?," asked Lan Zhan and giggled. Mark was also excited to hear this. Xian looked at them and smiled. He put his palms over his eyes.

"It was amazing. I think I have got my princess. She loves me a lot. I'm so happy. We had a lot of fun. With every single second I was falling more and more with her. Ahhh….I can't even explain," murmured Xian and giggled.
