In the morning Xian was ready to leave when someone knocked at the door. Xian opened the door and found Xiu Ying there. He greeted Xiu and told him to come inside.

"Housekeeper told me that you came last night here. What happened? Are you okay?," asked Xiu Ying looking at Xian.

"I'm fine sir. I was nearby the locality and the rain started pouring down. The cabs also stopped taking bookings so I thought to come here and spend a night here. Sorry sir to disturb you," murmured Xian.

"Don't say sorry. It's your house too. It's good you came here. Let's go have breakfast with me," said Xiu Ying and held Xian's hand.

"Ahh sir. I've to return. I'll come by someday." Xian was trying to escape the situation. He didn't want to make Mishi uncomfortable about this.

"Xian, I won't let you go. If you won't come with me then never ever talk with me," said Xiu Ying with. Xian thought to lie again but Xiu Ying didn't let him speak anything and holding his hand they reached inside the mansion in the living room. Everyone was in the dining room so they went there.

"Kids, meet Xian Zhang." Muttered Xiu Ying and everybody turns their faces to them. Chang and Chunhua startled to see Xian there. Xia looked at Mishi but kept mum. "Sir, I'll come to meet you sometime later. Your family is here so I should leave," murmured Xian looking at Xiu.

"Yuwan knows and Mishi too. You are our business partner and more than that I consider you as my son. I will feel bad if you won't eat breakfast with us," mumbled Xiu Ying. Xian looked at Mishi who wasn't looking at him.

"Dad is saying right. Xian, come have a breakfast with us," said Yuwan with a smile. Xiu Ying then made Xian beside Chang and told the maid to serve breakfast to them and then went to his chair. Xia looked at Xian and greeted him. Xian smiled at her. Chunhua looked at Xian and wasn't happy to see him.

"Why brother Xian? I just wish that no one talks about Sisi's engagement with brother Yuwan . If brother Xian will know then it won't be good," thought Chang in his mind. The breakfast was served to them.

"Xian it's good to see you after such a long time. How's the business going?," asked Xiu Ying and put a small chunk of fried egg in his mouth.

Xian smiled and replied, "it's going good, sir." Yuwan smiled hearing their conversation. After a while when they finished eating Xiu said, " Xian you will be happy to know that my son is getting engaged tomorrow. I want you to attend the ceremony. I tried calling you earlier too but your phone was out of reach but now you are here so it's good. Please tell your brother Mark and your mother to attend this engagement."

Xian smiled hearing this and congratulated Yuwan for this.

Chang got worried so he interrupted before Xiu Ying told Xian further. "Brother, I heard a lot about you. I want to ask something from you so if you could accompany me then it would be great," said Chang with a slight smile on his lips.

"Chang, what do you want to talk about? Talk here," said Mishi looking at him. Xiu Ying too agreed with Mishi.

"Ahh it's related to my work and brother Xian can answer that. I've to make him see that file which is in my room," reasoned Chang and smiled.

"Ahh okay. I'll help," murmured Xian. Xiu Ying told them to go and they left from there. Chang felt relieved and quickly left from there with Xian. They entered Chang's room.

"What do you want to ask?," asked Xuan and put his hands in his pockets. Chang then said, "brother, you shouldn't need to come here. I mean I thought you both would be uncomfortable so I lied there."

"You forgot the gift for Mishi in my car. I called many times to you but your phone was off," reasoned Xian looking at him. "Don't worry. I understand. Okay then I should leave. Tell Chunhua that we miss her a lot, especially Mark and Lan Zhan. Okay then see you then." Saying this Xian left from there.

He was walking through the pavement when Yuwan came there. Xian smiled seeing him and again congratulated him.

"I should leave then," mumbled Xian looking at him when Yuwan said, "Xian, I hope you won't come back here. Mishi doesn't say things but you know she's quite an emotional person who always hides her emotions and then suffers with them all alone."

Xian looked at Yuwan. "Sorry, I don't want to but then." Xian didn't even complete his words when Yuwan mumbled, "Mishi and I are engaging tomorrow. I hope you will give your best wishes to us." Xian didn't believe his ears. He looked at Yuwan with teary eyes.

"You can't engage with her," said Xian in disbelief. Yuwan looked at Xian and said, "I told you because I don't want you to misunderstand us not to tell you. Mishi and I started dating a while ago."

"But you told me that she doesn't love you. That day...that day you told me," murmured Xian holding Yuwan's arms.

"But then she wanted to go with it. You were his past and I'm her present and future," mumbled Yuwan. He then released Xian's hands from his arms and told him politely to not to create nuisance tomorrow in the engagement. Yuwan then walked away from there.

Tears started flowing from his eyes and he walked out from there. The phone in his pocket kept on vibrating but he didn't pick the call and left the mansion.

Mark put the phone on the bed and turned to Lau and Lan Zhan. "He hasn't picked a single call of mine since last night. What should we do now?" Concerned Mark said looking at them.

Lau took out his phone from the pocket and called Chang. "Whom are you calling?," asked Lan Zhan.

"Chang. He will pick the call now I guess...," said Lau. The rings kept on going but Chang didn't answer. Mishi who just came to Chang's room heard the sound and picked the call.

"Hello," said Mishi.

Lau recognised Mishi's voice. "Mishi " mumbled Lau. Mark and Lan Zhan went near him.

"Lau." After a pause she said, "Chang is in the washroom. When he will come then I will tell him to call you," saying this Mishi almost hung up the call when Lau asked, "is Xian there?"

"Yes he was here last night. He had breakfast earlier and now he has left," answered Mishi.

"He left? He's not picking any of our calls," mumbled Lau. "Sorry Lau. I don't know anything about this. I've some work to do so I'm hanging up." Saying Mishi hung up the call. Lau put his hand down and said, "he was there but now she doesn't know."

"What? Where did he go?," murmured Mark and got tensed. He put his hand on the forehead and said, "What happened there?"

"I don't know. I don't think Mishi knows anything about this. Maybe he has put his phone on silent," reasoned Lan Zhan with his hands on his waist.

"Something has happened there. Xian messaged me last night that he will call me in the morning," muttered Mark. Lau looked at them and said, "we can track his GPS. Lan Zhan you can ask from your team."

"I can. I'm calling Rukei." Saying this Lan Zhan took out his phone when Chang called on Lau's phone. Lan Zhan stopped calling Rukei while Lau immediately answered the call.

"Brother you were calling?," asked Chang from the other side of the phone.

Without going in loops Lau mumbled, "Yes. Xian isn't picking his call. Did something happen there?"

Chang was drying his hair from the towel and sat on the bed and said, "No brother. I managed everything. I mean Sisi is getting engaged with brother Yuwan. I came to know about this when I reached here but I made sure not to tell this thing to brother Xian."

"Okay. Thanks Chang," saying this Lau hung up the call. "What happened?," asked Mark.

"Mishi is getting engaged to Yuwan but Chang is saying that Xian doesn't know about this. But it seemed he got to know about this," murmured Lau and looked at them worriedly.

"What's this happening? It has not been a long time for their divorce and now Mishi started dating other man. I mean it's her life but she put Xian in darkness all these years? Mishi can't do this," said Lan Zhan with anger.

"But they both lived together for two years. Xian and Mishi were together just for two months. Mishi trusts Yuwan more than Xian," said Lau and sat on the bed.

"Feelings can't change this soon," murmured Mark.

Lau looked at Mark and said, "Feelings do change. Let's not talk about this now. Lan Zhan, please ask your colleague to track his GPS. He must be in a broken condition." Lan Zhan nodded and walked towards the balcony. Mark sat beside Lau and said, "Xian's life is getting destroyed by all this. We can't be able to do anything. Let's talk with Mishi about this. Let's talk with her."

"Mark, think rationally. If she had loved him a bit then she would've never dated Yuwan. I'm disappointed in her. At least Xian never sees another woman in his life apart from her. What kind of revenge Mishi is taking with Xian? Xian gave her every single thing and she repaid him like this? By taking revenge??," muttered Lau.
