Xian came to the house Yuwan with Mishi and Yuwan. He walked inside the house. Chang and Chunhua who were in the living room get shocked to see Xian. Xian happily hugged them and then released them.

"You've grown to a beautiful woman Chun….," said Xian with a smile.

"Sisi why is he here?," asked Chunhua, looking at Mishi but she didn't reply and walked towards her room.

"Well, the court ordered us to give a second chance to this marriage," said Xian with a smile. "I'll talk to you later. Let me first talk to my wife," said Xian and asked Yuwan about her room. He showed the way to Mishi's room to Xian. Xian thanked him and knocked at the door but Mishi didn't open the door for him.

"Wifey...open the door," said Xian with a gentle voice. But Mishi didn't open the door. He got an idea and went downstairs to the living room to ask for help from Yuwan.

"Please help me just once…," said Xian to Yuwan.

"It will be wrong. She will be angry at me," said Yuwan, looking at Xian. Xian sat beside him and said, "Yuwan, she won't. I want to talk to her today about something important. She lied to me that day. Help me please." Yuwan nodded and walked upstairs to Mishi's room with Xian.

"Mishi please open the door," said Yuwan. Mishi opened the door when Xian got inside the room and closed it. "Thanks Yuwan," said Xian loudly and closed the door from inside.

"Get out from here," shouted Mishi at Xian and pushed him out of the door. Xian was enjoying this so he let her do whatever she wanted to. But Mishi couldn't able to push him because he was too strong for her.

Xian grabbed her hands and put them behind her back with his one hand. His strength was so strong that Mishi was unable to move. "Leave me," said Mishi angrily to Xian.

"I can't leave you now. What did you say in the court that we don't have any husband-wife relationship. Let me show….," said Xian with a smile. Mishi looked at him and tried to release his grip from her.

"Xian, leave me this instant," said Mishi loudly. Xian smiled and said, "Mishi why are you so resistant? It's just a normal thing between a couple." He got close to her face while Mishi kept on backing her face. Xian with a blink of an eye carried her and put her on the bed. He was on the top of her, with his both arms on each side of her arms. She pushed him but Xian caught her hands and pinned her arms on the bed. He asked, "Why did you lie to me? You did that because you love me?"

Mishi looked into his eyes but then turned her face away. "I did that because my siblings' life was important for me. "

"Liar. You saved my company. Isn't it obvious that you love me and did that to save me?," asked Xian.

"I didn't do that for you. Mark, Li Wei and many other employees' lives were at stake that's why I did that," said Mishi.

"You won't say the truth...I guess," said Xian. He released her hands and then laid down beside her. "I missed you. I missed your presence Mishi. I'm happy that you're safe. Forgive me Mishi for not understanding you," said Xian. Mishi didn't say anything and got up from the bed when Xian pulled her and she fell on his lap with their faces so close. He gently caressed her face.

"Xian, " said Mishi in a low voice.

"Your heart and eyes can't lie. You still love me but you're afraid to accept that because I hurt you in the past. Mishi I'll gain your trust back," said Xian looking into her eyes.

"I don't want your trust anymore. I want to live by myself," said Mishi. Xian smiled and rested his chin on her shoulder. Mishi tried pushing him but he was holding her tightly, not wanting her to let go. "You can't force yourself on me," said Mishi.

"I won't do that. Let's be like this for sometime," said Xian, still resting his chin on her shoulder. He lightly kissed her on her shoulder when Mishi jerked her shoulder. "What are you thinking? Get off me," said Mishi loudly.

"Ahh okay….Wife," said Xian and let her go. She quickly got up and tried to go out when she couldn't open the door.

"Tanananaaaaa….the keys are with me," said Xian showing her the keys. "Now you and I will be alone here so that no one can come inside and no one can leave from here," said Xian.

"Xian give me the keys," said Mishi and stepped towards him but Xian climbed on the bed. "Now the door will open only in the morning," said Xian while smiling.

"Xian, give me the keys. What kind of games are you playing with me? Get off the bed and stop irritating me," shouted Mishi at Xian.

"Come up and take the keys," said Xian. Mishi sat on the sofa there and said, "I'm not interested in any of your games." Hearing this Xian jumped out of the bed and said, "please bring some clothes for me."

"What?," mumbled Mishi.

"I can't sleep in this business suit," said Xian looking at his clothes.

"Take yourself," said Mishi.

"Wait….I can call him and tell him," said Xian and took out his phone from his pocket.

"Don't bother him for your personal chores," said Mishi. She closed her eyes and laid her head back on the sofa. Xian carried her in his arms again. "What are you doing?," asked Mishi, glaring at him.

Xian walked towards the bed and put her gently on the bed. "Sleep here. You're tired so take a good sleep," said Xian and caressed her head. He put the blanket over her and then kissed her forehead. Mishi looked confusingly at him. He again caressed her head. "Let's start taking slow steps towards each other. If you don't want to do that then just don't. I'll come towards you. Goodnight wife," said Xian and then closed the lights. Turning on one of the bedside lamps, he walked out of the room.

Xian walked towards the living room when he saw Yuwan talking with someone on the phone about the work. Yuwan looked at Xian and hung up the call after a while. He sat on the couch and asked, "done talking?"

Xian replied a yes and sat beside him. "She's pushing me away," said Xian. He then looked at Yuwan and asked, "could you please tell me what happened two years ago when you saved her?"

"Hmm. As a husband you should know about this," said Yuwan. He then narrated the entire incident to Xian.

"It's all because of me that she lost faith in love," said Xian.

"Yes you can say that. She trusted you a lot because you were her family after marriage but you didn't make efforts to find out about her. She lost belief in herself that time. She doesn't want to live because her husband and siblings left her in the most crucial period of time. She has a pure heart Xian and now she has built a wall around her because she's afraid of falling in love," said Yuwan.

Tears fell from Xian's eyes hearing Mishi's condition that time. "I didn't respect her at all when she put her faith in me. I'm such a bad husband and a bad human being. I can feel what she has gone through that time when she needed me the most. Yuwan, I'm really grateful to you for saving her, for taking care of her and for making her this strong," said Xian. He wiped off his tears and said, "I never thought that the girl whom I wanted to take revenge thinks so much about me. I've hurt her badly."

"Repenting on your mistakes is good. Don't be late in doing that. If she weren't married then I guess I would've taken her as my wife. You're lucky that you stopped this divorce the last minute," said Yuwan.

Xian looked at him and said, "you're a good guy that's why she trusted you more than me."

"But she doesn't love me. She looks at you differently...that's why I didn't make efforts to make her mine. At some point of her life you did many things for her which no one did for her. That's why she carries a soft part for you in her heart although she's denying those things for now," said Yuwan.

Xian looked at him and smiled. "Thanks Yuwan for being so good to her and telling me your feelings too," said Xian.

"She is a good friend of mine so I want her happiness. Make sure to love her with all your heart because a girl like Mishi can't be found easily," said Yuwan with a smile.

Xian nodded and laid his head back on the couch.
