Mishi gained her conscious in the evening and the first thing she saw was a man sitting beside her and looking at her. She quickly got up from the bed and grabbing a pillow she asked, "who are you?"

"Woah....calm down Mrs Zhang. I'm doctor, Lau Lan, Xian's friend. He called me here because you weren't in good condition", said Lau Lan standing up from the chair.

Mishi was putting away the pillow when Xian comes there and saw them. "Why do you always want to beat someone in your first meet?", asked Xian looking at Mishi.

"Sorry. I thought....."

"What? That I'll bring some random person here?", asked Xian with a slight anger in his tone.

"Cool down. I think Xian you're doing too much with your wifey", said Lau and went near to Mishi. He puts his arm around her shoulder and said looking at her, "Mishi don't be afraid of him. I'll beat him up for you because I'm going to live here with you two. I hope you will take care of me too" and smiled.

"Take your hand off from her", said Xian while walking towards her.

"Why? She has no problem with this then why you're having problem?", asked Lau Lan. He looked at Mishi and said, "We're friends right so don't worry about him....now lay down and let me check you". Mishi went to the bed and laid down. Xian took some files from the cupboard and walked out from there.

"So Mishi why didn't you eat food for 2 days? Don't you wanna live?", asked Lau Lan.

"Uhm....that..."

"With me you can be frank....I'm not going to tell Xian", said Lau.

"Because he hadn't eat anything and wasn't picking any of my calls", said Mishi lowering her eyes.

"But he didn't think any of these things for you. So why did you?", asked Lau.

"He's my husband. He has done many things for me so it's my duty to take care of him too but he was angry and....."

"It's fine Mishi. From now on you don't have to think so much of him...first take care of yourself then only you can take care of him", said Lau and got up from the chair. "I took your room for sometime.....I mean you're husband and wife so you both should sleep in same room", said Lau and smiled.

Mishi said, "I don't think it's a good idea.....I'll take the third room".

"Oh Mishi that room is already occupied by me. I'm a doctor you know so many books, materials I've that I needed a space. It's like a study room so you can't take third room", said Lau with a smile.

"Just accept this you're here to trouble me", said Xian who came inside and put back the file in the cupboard.

"Xian you're saying right. I'm here to trouble you", said Lau and interlocked Xian's neck between his arms. "Hey leave me we ain't kids anymore", said Xian and tried to release his neck from his grip.

Lau smiled and said, "I won't..". He took Xian out with him winking at Mishi. Mishi smiled looking at this.

"Mark you know how to cook?", asked Yin.

"Of course....I've learnt it from Mishi", said Mark with a smile. He rolled up his sleeves, washed his hands and then started cooking.

Yin tried to help him but he refused her help saying that she should sit and he will make the dinner. He fried the fish in one pan and in the other he made some soup for them. He puts the rice in the rice cooker and turned it on. Yin was looking at him curiously. Mark smiled seeing her.

After an hour he finished the work and told her to help him in setting the dinner table. They put the plates and bowl on the table and then Mark pulled the chair for Yin and gestured her to sit.

"Should we eat a candle light dinner?", asked Yin.

"Candle light?", mumbled Mark and looked at her.

"Hm...wait for me", said Yin and ran inside her room. After a few minutes she came out of the room with candles and put them on the candle stand. She switched off the other lights and then with lighter she lightened the candles.

Mark smiled seeing her glowing face. "You also like such type of things?", asked Mark.

"Hm....I always wanted this with. But it's good you know", said Yin. Mark smiled and served the dinner to her. He cuts the pieces of fish for her and put them on the plate...."eat and tell me now is it?"

Yin took a bite and gave him a thumbs up. "Mishi is indeed a good cook and I'm surprised you really learnt the cooking", said Yin.

"When I think of something to do then I'll do that at any cost", said Mark. Yin smiled looking at him so is Mark. They started eating while talking with each other. After finishing dinner Mark did the dishes. Yin tried to help him but he refused her. Then he cleaned the kitchen while Yin was looking at her smiling.

"Mark do you want to eat ice cream?", asked Yin.

Mark looked at her and said, "yes why not". Yin happily took out the ice creams from the fridge and gave him the one. They sat on the couch there and started eating. "My ice cream is over please give me some", said Mark looking at Yin.

"No I won't", said Yin and kept on eating. "You can take it from the fridge", said Yin.

"No I want it from...", said Mark gesturing at her bowl. Yin smiled and said, "ok I'll give you only one spoon" and took out ice cream and was ready to feed him when she turned the spoon back and puts it inside her mouth..."mmmmm.."

Yin smiled looking at him when Mark leaned closer to her and said, "I told you that I want one from you". The next second he started kissing her. He bites at her lower lip which made moan Yin and entered her mouth. The sweet taste of ice cream fell on his mouth. He tried to released her when Yin pulled him putting her hands on his neck and kissed him back. They kept on kissing for a while, released when they gasped for air and smiled seeing each other.

"I ordered the food for us. And for you I made some porridge. Eat this and then get to sleep", said Xian putting the porridge bowl beside her bed table. "Sleep here and I'll sleep on sofa", said Xian.

"No it's fine. I will sleep on the sofa", said Mishi looking at him.

"What do you want to do now? Do you want my mother to come here?", asked Xian. Mishi didn't say anything. He was ready to left from there when Mishi said, "Xian why don't you trust me? Yes I had feelings for him when I don't even know you but then we got married. I didn't propose him because I became your wife by then. Do you think I'll still go to him after my marriage to you?"

Xian turned to her and said, "Mishi I saw the day that guy called you to the restaurant and then he was kissing you. You should've resisted him.

"Xian I never thought he will do this....", said Mishi with teary eyes.

"Sorry for hurting you last night. I should've kept my cool", said Xian unable to meet her eyes.

Mishi turned her face away and tears started flowing from her eyes. She couldn't control her emotion and said, "Xian all these years no one cared for me as you did although it was out of sympathy or whatever you wanna say it. You not only gave everything to me but you also cherished my siblings. Indeed Zhao did the same for me but with you it's different. I started falling for you but you rejected me for the things I never did. You tell me what should I do?"

Xian felt guilty of what he did to her. Without uttering any word he walked out of the room. Mishi looked at his back till the door get shut.

"Xian I've set the table....", said Lau but Xian ignored him and walked out of the house. Lau walked towards their room and saw Mishi's crying face. He thought to go inside but then he stopped thinking he should give her some spare time.

Outside the house Xian was walking in the pavilion thinking about what Mishi just said to him. He clenched his fist and called his friend, Lan Zhan who's in police cyber security and crime department. After talking with him he booked a can for him and left for the house of Lan Zhan. In the cab he was thinking, "if Zhao and Bai did this intentionally then I'll not spear them".
