Xian and Mark reached the hospital. "Is it because of that thing?", asked Mark while walking towards the general ward.

"I don't know. I just tell her what was right", said Xian. They went inside the ward room and found her bed.

"Thank you Secretary Jini Xier", said Mark who took Yin to the hospital. "Sir it's my duty. I should go now...it's late", said Jini.

"Let me book a cab for you", said Mark.

"It's fine sir. My fiance is coming", said Jini. Mark nodded and his secretary left from there.

The doctor came there. "Are you her guardians?", asked The doctor. "We're her friends", replied Xian.

"Well she cut her wrist from the knife. I did the tests and found that she's taking some medications for anxiety and depression....are you aware of this?", asked the doctor.

Xian and Mark looked at each other and refused.

"You have to take care of her. Better to tell her family because she's taking the medications for a long time I guess....as soon as she will gain conscious please call for me by telling the nurse here", said the doctor and walked to the other patient.

"Mark I'm calling Mishi", said Xian and went outside.

"Hey Mishi...there's a problem. Yin is unconscious so I don't think I can come home. So you should sleep....", said Xian and hangs up. He went inside and sat beside Mark on the chair.

"I think she did this because you refused her feelings..", said Mark.

"I never thought she'll be in depression because of this", said Xian and crossed his arms.

"What will you do now?", asked Mark.

"Let's decide that after she'll wake up. I'm shifting her to a new personal room... Stay here", said Xian and went away from there.

After an hour she gained conscious and opened her eyes. Xian went to tell the nurse there.

"Yin are you fine?", asked Mark. Yin tried to get up. Mark helped her in sitting. The doctor came there and told them to go outside.

"Ms Yin how are you feeling?", asked the doctor.

"Good", replied Yin.

"Are you taking medications for depression?", asked the doctor.

"Yes"

"For how much time?", asked the doctor.

"For 5 years", said Yin.

"Have you met with your psychiatrist recently?", asked the doctor.

"No I'm not seeing him for 6 months", said Yin.

"Ms Yin you almost put your life in danger. You should bring your family members so that I can recommend a good psychiatrist doctor for you....for now take rest", said the doctor and went out. He told the things to Mark and Xian and told them not to put pressure on the patient. They nodded and thanked him.

They went inside. Yin looked at them and said, "Sorry".

"You're depressed for 5 years and you didn't tell us", said Xian.

"Sorry. I..."

"Why are you depressed? Is it because Xian.....", asked Mark.

Yin looked at them and said, "Xian I really love you...I mean I can't...", said Yin with teary eyes.

"Yin it's one sided. Let's say I'll marry you then what. We won't be happy...I don't want that. You're my friend so I don't want you to be unhappy", said Xian.

"Then what should I do?", asked Yin.

"Find someone else who can take better care of you more than me. I'm going out to take some thing for you to eat...", said Xian and walked out of the room.

Mark looked at Yin and sat beside her. "You treat us as outsiders that you didn't tell us", said Mark.

"Mark sorry but...."

"Yin what were you thinking? You cut your wrist without thinking anything. What if something bad had happened?", said Mark with a broken voice.

"He rejected me Mark. I love him so much. Why Mishi not me?", asked Yin with tears.

"Because you're his friend. The things he can't tell Mishi he can tell you without any hesitation and Mishi is her other half. The void which he has, can be filled only by Mishi. If he doesn't love then you'll take your life? You don't have any right to take your life Yin....", said Mark with concern.

"I should go back to US then only..."

"Didn't you run away so that you can forget him? But you didn't. Now you won't go and if you then I'll tell your family....", said Mark.

"You can't do that", said Yin.

"Yes I will because I can't see you like this....", said Mark.

"Mark you can't interfere in my life", said Yin.

"Yin I always listened to you but not anymore because I'm going to make you fall for me....I won't give up on you and I won't let you in pain all alone. And now you can't say anything....", said Mark.

"Mark..."

"Yin please. I'll suffer more seeing you like this....", said Mark and sat on the chair there. Just then Xian entered the room. He looked at them and realized something is off.

"Why are you two not talking?", asked Xian.

"Xian you should go home. Mom and others are alone there, I'll take care of Yin here", said Mark. Xian looked at him and said, "fine.... Yin take care...bye", saying this Xian walked away from there.

Xian reached home and saw Mishi is sleeping on the couch, the blanket is on the floor. "This girl doesn't know how to sleep", mumbled Xian and carried her in his arms, making her sleep on the bed. He puts the blanket over her and sat beside her. "I think I've messed up the lives of many. I should've been careful about her feelings for me. Yes she supported me in that time but I just see her as my friend. I was terrified when I heard some thing happened to her. What should I do?"

He caressed Mishi's head lovingly and then went to the other side of bed. Before sleeping he messaged Mark.

"Mark tell her I'm sorry. I never thought that she'll take such a step just because of me. I'm sorry Mark.... I know I've hurt you as well".

Mark replied came. "Xian as you know I love her but all these years I stayed quiet because I thought you'll accept her. After your marriage I thought she will forget you but she didn't. Actually it's my fault too, I didn't tell you earlier. I was suspicious of her about this and she said she can't give up on you. Now I think I've to handle it in my own way. Just answer my one question. Do you like Mishi?"

Xian read his message and the question asked by Mark is quite difficult for him. After thinking for a while he said, "I like her I guess because I love being around her. You know that I never felt this for any woman not even with Bai. But I'm not sure...I mean I'm slightly confused too. But one thing I'm sure of is I'm happy with Mishi....I liked my decision to get marry with her".

Mark message popped, "Xian give yourself time. I'll now handle Yin and her depression thing....okay then you should sleep now".

Xian closed his phone and then closed his eyes.

In the morning Mishi found herself in the bed and she immediately looked around. She was surprised to see Xian was sleeping beside her slightly far keeping a distance between them. She warmly touched her face when Xian's eyes opened up and Mishi took back her hand.

"Xian you...I....was just checking if..."

She didn't even complete her words when Xian pulled her into his warm embrace and said, "Mishi, Yin has hurt herself because of me".

"What?", mumbled Mishi in a low voice.

"She's in depression for 5 years. I rejected her feelings several times, that's why. When I saw her there unconscious I felt so bad. It felt like I was the reason behind my best friend's condition", said Xian.

"Xian don't blame yourself. She will get through this.....I'll talk to her", said Mishi.

"No don't. Do not meet her for a while. Let Mark handle things for now...", said Xian and looked at her. Mishi nodded and said, "now will you leave me".

Xian released her from his embrace. Mishi went inside the washroom to freshen up. In the meantime Xian called Mark to ask about Yin.

"She's sleeping. Don't worry. Xian tell Mishi to call me when she'll be free. I've some work regarding the project with her", said Mark.

"Okay I will. Mark I wanna ask should we tell her family about this? Didn't they call her yesterday....I mean...", said Xian in concern.

"She said not to tell them. She won't do any such thing in future, she assured me so don't worry. I'll come in a while....bye", said Xian and cuts the call.

He was getting up from the bed when Li Wei's call come.

"Hello Li".

"Xian there's a bad news. Mishi's grandmother has passed away and her family has asked for her", said Li.

"What?", mumbled Xian.

"Mr Waixi's Secretary has called me a while ago. I'll clear yours and Mark's schedule for today", said Li.

"Okay fine....", said Xian and hung up the call.
