Mishi told everyone to come to eat their suppers. Everyone sat around the table except Xian. "Where's brother Xian?," asked Chunhua with a smile on her lips.
"I guess he's working. I mean office work," mumbled Mark.
"I'll bring him here,'' said Chang.
"No you should sit. I'll bring him downstairs," muttered Mishi with a smile and walked towards her room.
"Xian, Xian the dinner is ready," shouted Mishi but there was no one inside the room. She checked the washroom but he wasn't there also. She came downstairs and murmured, "He's not in the room I guess."
"Yeah, I almost forgot he's in his study room which is besides your room Mishi," mumbled Mark.
"Okay, then you trio should eat. I'll eat with him later." Mishi told them and started serving the food.
"Mishi thanks. I know you're all new here but trust me you'll enjoy it here." Mark assured her with a smile. Mishi smiled hearing. "Chang, do you want this soup?," asked Mishi.
"Of course! it's my favourite," said Chang and smiled.
"Waah! Xian is going to love this dinner. Your hands have magic in your hands. Mother is going to love you all, especially this handmade food of yours," mumbled Mark and continued eating.
"Sisi, I've an upcoming audition next month so I won't be able to focus much into studies,'' said Chunhua.
"You want to be an idol?," asked Chang looking at Chunhua.
"Yes. I'm practicing hard for that. Hope this time I'll pass," whispered Chunhua. "You'll pass. Don't stress yourself." Mishi encouraged her and patted her back gently.
"Chunhua has good dancing skills so don't worry you'll pass this time. I've a friend who owns a dance company. I'll talk to him." Mark offered Chunhua to practice in an academy.
Mishi felt that Mark was doing so much for them. So she thought of refusing his help. "Mark it's fine. She will manage."
"Mishi, you're now part of this family. So it means Chunhua and Chang are also a part of this family so let's not think too much. Chunhua let's talk about this after dinner," muttered Mark and pinched her nose.
"Ahh! brother Mark," mumbled Chunhua and rubbed her nose. They all smile seeing her.
After they finished eating, Mishi took the dinner upstairs for Xian and herself. She put the tray in the room and walked towards the room beside theirs. She knocked at the door but there was no response so she pushed it lightly.

It was quite a big library with every sort of business related book. She walked towards the first shelf and touched the books. She took further steps and found her favourite book there. She was going to pull it out when Xian growled, "Who told you to come here?"
Mishi put back the book and turned back. "Sorry, " stammered Mishi.
"Say it quick," murmured Xian with disinterest.
"I've prepared dinner. It's in the room. You should eat it," mumbled Mishi. Xian bored her gaze into here. "I don't want to," snapped Xian and sat on his chair with a book in his hand.
"But you haven't eaten since morning," mumbled Mishi and lowered her eyes.
" I've already eaten. Don't make food for me from now on," muttered Xian and shifted his gaze to the book he was holding in his hand.
"What would I tell others then? Chang and Chunhua ask about you. I can't lie to them every other day." Mishi tried making him understand.
"I don't care about that. Go don't show me your face," snapped Xian at him. Mishi felt bad hearing this. She walked away from there holding the tray, she walked downstairs and started washing the dishes. Tears were falling from her eyes.
She was crying on her fate but she had to remain strong for her siblings.
She cleaned everything in the kitchen and left for the room when she saw Mark waving at her to come to him. She went near him wiping her face.
"Mishi, let's take a walk in the garden," mumbled Mark and walked towards the garden while Mishi followed him. They walked in the garden for a while. "Mishi, mother loves planting as you can see here. Actually she wants her son's life to bloom like these flowers."
Mishi's eyes filled with tears. She quickly wiped her tears. "Mishi, you can consider me your elder brother. I mean I always wanted to have a little sister. Isn't it good that we met." Mark said with a smile.
"Hm....it's good. I've never been taken care of like this. Neither anyone showed so much care for my siblings," murmured Mishi.
"Mishi, you know I don't have parents. I mean I was in an orphanage. I was 6 when my mother took me here as his son. I'm the closest person to Xian, a friend and also a brother. Mishi, I could've stopped this marriage but I didn't, do you know why?," questioned Mark and looked at her.

Mishi looked at him and shook her head in refusal.
"Because you're the girl who can make Xian what he's truly. Yes Mishi, you. He's in deep hell from where he doesn't want to come. He's not the person as he seems. Sorry for the wrongs he's doing with you but trust me he's not a person like this. He's a gentle and loving person," mumbled Mark.
Mishi couldn't control herself and she started crying profusely. She put her palms over her eyes. Seeing this Mark stepped ahead and caressed her head lovingly.
"I don't know why I just cry before you. I never once cried before someone. I've always told myself that I'm strong but I can't handle it anymore. I didn't do anything wrong with him. Why is he hating me so much? It's painful you know. Sometimes I feel that I shouldn't be in this world but then my siblings." Saying this Mishi broke into tears.
Mark embraced her in a warm hug and patted his back. "Cry Mishi cry. But this is the last time I'll see you like this because from tomorrow you'll change yourself. Don't you want to kick his butt and put some good thoughts in his mind," said Mark.
A laugh came out of Mishi's mouth hearing this. "It feels like he's kicking me," said Mishi and smiled.
Mark wiped off her tears and said, "You look good when you smile Mishi. So let's join hands together and make him plead with you for mercy. I'm good at fighting, you know." Hearing this Mishi smiled and they both laughed together.
"Go eat your dinner. Wait, I can give you a hand in that. Your food makes me crazy. Leave him without food. For how many days he will survive without home made food. Let's go then...I'm feeling hungry again," mumbled Mark and they walked inside the house.
~~~~~~~~
"Mishi you need to eat more. Don't eat like a bird," murmured Mark and put more rice in her bowl.
"Mark if I'll eat at this rate then I'll gain weight," stated Mishi.
"I want my sister to be chubby. If you won't eat properly then how are you going to beat him up?," asked Mark.
"I can beat him even now. I'm just waiting for the opportunity," Mishi told him and they both laughed.
"That's the spirit I want in my sister," said Mark and laughed.
"Mark I'm feeling hungry," mumbled Xian while coming inside his room when he saw Mishi was eating with him.
"What hungry? Sorry bro, I'm eating the most tasty food in the world," mumbled Mark.
Xian and Mishi looked at each other but then Xian turned his gaze from her. "Okay. "
"Why don't you join us? We just started eating," asked Mark.
"I'm not hungry now." Xian said when a growling sound came out of his stomach. Mishi looked at him.
"Xian but your stomach is saying something else. You shouldn't lie. Moreover it's late and I don't have the strength to go out," murmured Mark and smiled. He stood up and walked to him, then he dragged him to the couch and made him sit beside Mishi.
"Mishi, can you serve him dinner. My hands are dirty." Mark looked at his hands.
"He said he doesn't want to eat. So let him be hungry," murmured Mishi and turned her face away.
"Mrs Zhang this house is mine. Everything here belongs to me," muttered Xian annoyingly.
"Then why didn't you make dinner for everyone?," asked Mishi.
"Mishi, he always does this. Whenever mother goes away he only orders food from outside and makes me eat that food. He has bullied his brother Mishi. I'm happy that you came as his wife," mumbled Mark and smiled looking at Xian.
"Okay now you're on her side," said Xian while smiling.
"Of course. She's my little sister," mumbled Mark.
"What? Little sister? You made her your sister?," mumbled Xian in disbelief.
"Mark, he's jealous. No one ever wanted him to be his sister so he's jealous of you," muttered Mishi, looking at Xian.
"Haha. Sister? I have a more intelligent sister than your sister Mark," said Xian, looking at Mishi.
"Who?," asked Mark excitedly.
"Chunhua. She is more intelligent than your dumb sister," snapped Xian at Mark looking at Mishi.
"Ok, now you should eat dinner before it gets cold," mumbled Mark. Mishi put the rice in a bowl and soup in the other, meat in the third. Xian started eating along with them while Mark smiled looking at them.
