The Revenge Turned To Love Chapter 9

Mishi knocked at Mark's office door and lightly pushed the door. "Good morning, Sir." Mishi greeted Mark. Mark recognized her and told her to take the seat to which Mishi refused politely and put the files on the table.

"Sir, these files are sent by Xian sir," said Mishi and put the files on the table. Mark looked at her and called her name. Mishi thought he must've seen her name on the ID card.

"You forgot me? That day in the elevator. Call me Mark. No formalities with me." Mark humbly said to her with a light smile on his lips. Mishi recalled her interview day and then recognized him.

"Sorry Sir, for not being able to recognize you," Mishi said with a low voice.

"It's fine. I apologize to you from Xian's side for the thing that happened with you at the bar." Mark asserted with an apologetic look. "You were there?," asked Mishi with a surprise.

"Don't tell me you forget that too," muttered Mark and smiled. Mishi too smiled hearing that. "How did you get here?'' he then asked curiously.

"Oh! I applied for this company and got selected as his PA" said Mishi and sighed.

Mark understood her reaction. "Mishi, he's not that bad you know. He has gone through some bad phases in the past, that's why he has some anger issues."

"But he should control that. He should know that others can feel bad too." Mishi angrily declared.

"Hm, I know. He wasn't like this but six years ago something happened to him that's why he is like this." Mark tried giving her a hint.

"What do you mean?" asked Mishi, looking at Mark questionably.

"You don't need to know. Let me tell you an interesting thing- 'he never once agreed on appointing a female assistant for him.' You're an exception." Mark told her and then got up from his chair, closed the buttons of his blazer.

Mishi made an angry face. "Because he wants to take his revenge from me."

"What?" mumbled Mark with a startled look.

Mishi looked at Mark and thought to tell him. "I fought with him twice so it's obvious he will pick me among all those. I wish I could kick him at his butt and then punch him. Ahh...I'm imagining that feeling." Saying this Mishi laughed.

"Mishi, please take me with you on this plan. I always wanted to do that". But he stopped speaking further when he saw Xian at the door who was standing at the door with his folded hands and glaring at them.

He immediately said, "Mishi you need to…" Mark tried stopping her but Mishi cut his words.

"I know. I need an opportunity for that and I've planned that already." Mishi muttered and smiled. "Mark I'll stop but not here. Mr. Wei said that I've to go to an event with him and that's the moment when I'm going to kick him that he will fall in front of everyone. Yes, he can't even fire me. Hahaha. So Mark, how's my idea?" Mishi excitedly asked him.

"I sent you here for work and you're planning how to beat a CEO in the event?" muttered Xian and walked towards them.

Hearing his voice Mishi turned back. Xian put his hands in his pants pockets and took steps towards her. "I wasn't saying it for you. I mean I have got a friend named Xi'an Lee who always irritates me. I'm thinking of beating him," Mishi tried lying to him.

"Yes, Xian, Mishi, and I were talking about that." Mark defended Mishi.

Xian smiled and said, "Mark, who are you making a fool of? Ms. Xin, go to your desk. I'm coming there in 5 minutes," ordered Xian glaring at her. Mishi quickly walked away from there.

"So, what were you saying?" Xian queried, glaring at Mark.

"Bro, sorry but she was right. I mean you're too much sometimes that's why you need a good beating," stated Mark and laughed.

"Hey, go to that meeting in room 1 as I've to go urgently

somewhere," Xian said to Mark.

"Where?"

"Outside for some work!" Xian stated, stressing his words, and left his office.

"He will again get angry at me," mumbled Mishi when the office door was being pushed and she quickly started working on the desktop.

"Ms. Xin, carry my blazer and the car keys over there. Be quick, don't hide your face," Xian said in a commanding tone and walked out.

Mishi quickly ran over to Xian's desk. She picked his car keys then the blazer and ran after him to the VIP elevator. It was going to get close when Mishi put her leg in between and the elevator opened up again.

"You're a good sprinter," Xian taunted her. Mishi gave him the blazer. "Hold it for now," said Xian and then folded his sleeves up. They reached the ground floor, in the parking lot.

"Drive to the Ultraviolet restaurant," said Xian and opened the back seat door when Mishi said, "sorry sir, but I don't know how to drive."

"What?" exclaimed Xian and looked at her in disbelief.

Mishi lowered her eyes. "You should've learned to drive instead of fighting with others and making some beat-up plans," Xian sarcastically told her and grabbed the keys from her.

"Sir, you can call your driver," said Mishi.

"He's on leave," replied Xian and opened the driver seat's door.

"Should I book a taxi?" asked Mishi.

"No, get in," Xian ordered and started the engine.

Mishi quickly went to open the back seat door when Xian said, "am I driver to you? Sit in the front." Mishi gulped hearing this and ran towards the other side. As soon as she got into the car, Xian drove away from there.

They were on the highway when Xian's phone started ringing. He turned on the Bluetooth placed on his ear and answered the call.

"Hello, Li Wei, yes, wait for me there," muttered Xian.

"Sir, the client is stuck in traffic. He said it may take him 2 hours since the traffic is heavy near the airport," mumbled Li Wei.

"Hm. Okay." Saying this Xian cut the call and increased the speed of the car.

"Learn driving," snapped Xian at Mishi.

"You can hire another driver," murmured Mishi.

"Money does not grow in trees. I'm giving you more than enough salary so, better learn it by the end of this week," stated Xian.

"Do you want to die?" asked Mishi.

"What?" mumbled Xian.

"I tried learning but I almost got into an accident so I can't learn," Mishi told him her reason.

"Useless," murmured Xian.

"What? Useless? Then why did you hire me?" snapped Mishi at him.

"Should I need to tell? Btw I'm your boss, not your servant with whom you can talk like this," muttered Xian while focusing his eyes on the road. "What's wrong with your clothes? Do you have not some good formal dresses?," asked Xian.

"Unlike you, I can't throw money in a single shot," pronounced Mishi.

Xian changed the route of the car. "It's not the road to Ultraviolet," Mishi said.

"Because we're going to buy some formal dresses for you," Xian told her.

"I don't have enough money for that. I'll buy it after work," asserted Mishi. Xian didn't say anything and kept on driving. After twenty minutes he stopped the car in front of a dress shop and told Mishi to get off.

Initially, Mishi resisted but when Xian told her that it's about his company's reputation too then Mishi agreed with him and followed him inside the showroom.

Inside the dress shop, Xian told one of the staff to do a makeover for Mishi in a professional way.

The lady took Mishi with her from there while Xian rested himself on the couch there. After half an hour she came in two suits. "My budget is going to hamper because of these expensive dresses," thought Mishi in her mind.

"You brought these?" Xian questioned, which made her come out of thoughts.

"Yes, these are perfect," stated Mishi with a smile.

Xian looked at her in disbelief and walked inside the women's section. He picked five formal business suits for her and told the lady on the counter to make the payment with his card.

"I can't buy so many suits at once," muttered Mishi and grabbed his hand. Xian looked at her and then at his hand. Mishi quickly backed off her hand.

"Because you're my PA so you've to wear such clothes. Now take this suit and go get changed into this in five minutes," ordered Xian and turned to the lady at the counter. Mishi wasn't able to refuse him and walked towards the changing room.

She came there after 15 minutes and then they left for the Ultraviolet restaurant.

"Chang, my father, he is in a management agency. I asked him about this agency which you were asking. He said that it's fraud so don't go for it. Dad said if she wants to then she can audition in the agency where he's working. It's next month," said Xu Tang (friend of Chang).

Chang thanked him. "It's okay. Tell Chunhua to keep a distance from such things," Xu Tang suggested Chang.

"Hm, I'm going to talk to her. Wanna come with me?" asked Chang. Xu nodded and they both left from the lobby outside their class.

"Hey, Ling Hua did you see Chunhua?" asked Chang whom they met in the staircase.

"She was with Lian Lee on the ground." Ling Hua told him. Chang thanked her and went with Xu to the park.

"She isn't here," mumbled Xu looking around the huge ground.

"Maybe in the backyard," muttered Chang and walked there with Xu. They kept on walking when they heard whispers and stopped midway.

"Chunhua, you did right by signing the contract. Now you'll make a debut in two years," mumbled Mingmei (friend of Chunhua).

"Yeah. Chang wasn't giving them money and that's why I've to sneak into his room when he was sleeping," said Chunhua.

"Chunhua," shouted Chang and ran to her. She got afraid of seeing him.

"Why did you do that? I told you not to make a hasty decision." Chang shouted at her angrily.

"Don't interfere in my life. I'm grown up now," stated Chunhua.

"That was a fraud. You gave her so much money without even telling me. I told you I'll help you," Chang said with anger on his face.

"Fraud??" asked Chunhua.

"Dad is in an agency. I asked about this agency from him. He told me there's no such agency like this," Xu said.

Hearing this Chunhua immediately turned to Mingmei and said, "Mingmei, your mother is her friend right? Let's talk with her."

"Chunhua. what are you saying? My mother just helped you. Why are you dragging my mom in this? Even she doesn't know this was a fraud," muttered Mingmei.

"Then what about my money?" asked Chunhua with teary eyes.

"Sorry, I don't know this will happen. I've to go to class. see you later," lied Mingmei and walked away from there. Chunhua turned to Chang with tears in her eyes.

"I told you not to trust her," mumbled Chang and folded his hands.

Chunhua started crying. "I just want to help out our elder sister," Chunhua said in a trembled voice.

"Chang, don't be angry at her," said Xu in a low voice.

"Stop crying. Sisi will scold me," said Chang. "Let's go to the class. We will think about this later." He wiped off Chunhua's tears.

"Chunhua, you can go for an audition in the agency where my dad is working. He said there's an audition next month so don't cry." Xu encouraged her and patted her shoulder.

"Don't tell Sisi," said Chang, looking at Chunhua.

"She will ask about this," whispered Chunhua.

"I'll handle that." Chang pacified her and walked away from there. Xu Tiang told Chunhua to come along with them, and they left from there.
