Yun Xuan looked out through the window so she could see the people below and estimate their power. But then she was something that made all her worries dissipate.

What was happening below wasn't as scary as it looked, it was more like a face off. Somewhere in the distance, several bodyguards gathered and each one of them looked like they could wipe off the earth if they wanted to.

Yun Xuan gasped. There were more formidable bodyguards than the ones she usually saw? This meant that no matter what, Lin Ye's safety was guaranteed.

Her line of sight landed on a woman among the opponents. Her gaze narrowed. What was that woman doing here?

Outside.

Lin Ye wasn't afraid. He knew that with his brother's power, he couldn't possibly hire extraordinary experts. The people he sent were at most of the same level as his regular team bodyguards.

He strode forward and faced the man who instructed the intruders. "Elder brother, long time no see."

The man saw how nonchalant Lin Ye looked. It was as though they had ambushed him to play a game of chess and not to kill him. Definitely, he was irked. But unexpectedly, he made his gang retreat to the side. Instantly, Lin Ye's bodyguards retreated too.

"Let's leave our battle for last. It's going to be the most interesting anyway. Where is that woman?"

Lin Ye scratched his chin as though in thought, his eyes full of a never seen level of arrogance. "What woman, your mother?"

"You!" Lin Hancheng exploded. This was his sore spot. How dare this punk rub it?!

"I'm giving you a last chance. If you don't get that woman out here..."

"What will you do, die of anger?" Lin Ye provoked.

Ruolin couldn't watch anymore. This Lin Hanchen was quite reliable in other circumstances but whenever it was related to Lin Ye, be would turn incredibly stupid. If she didn't know better, she would think Lin Ye had cast a stupidity spell on him, and it would act up whenever they faced each other.

She walked foward and cast a glance at Lin Ye. "I'm here for Yun Xuan. Mr. Lin must be a wise man and you know that you shouldn't interfere in other people's business, right?"

"Looking for me?" A voice rang in the air.

Lin Ye froze. What was Yun Xuan doing here? Didn't she promise to be good and stay in his room?

The woman walked right to his side and held his hand then looked at Ruolin. "I wonder why the great Mrs. Qin is looking for me?"

Ruolin couldn't hold her anger anymore, seeing that the woman between her and Tyler was actually acting coy with another man. She was losing out to another man's mistress? How could she not be humiliated? "I just want to kill you. Let's make it quick and painless, okay?"

Yun Xuan chuckled. "What a coincidence, I want to kill you too."

Seeing that Lin Hancheng and Ruolin had appeared together, Yun Xuan could guess what was going on. Lin Hancheng obviously hated Lin Ye, but Ruolin's animosity could only be directed towards her.

Now it all made sense. "The two of you are together, aren't you?"

Yun Xuan was right. The two of them formed a plan together and double crossed Tyler. While Tyler only wanted Yun Feng's life to be threatened, Ruolin wanted him dead.

Her reason was obvious. As long as Yun Xuan and that little bastard Yun Feng were alive, she would never truly get back together with Tyler and her son would never receive all the love he deserved from his father.

Yun Xuan didn't care about any of that. She let go of Lin Ye's hand and strode foward then stopped before Ruolin. "If you keep your dear husband away from my son and I, I will never appear in your lives either. We will both be happy. What do you think?"

Ruolin glared at the woman before her. How dare she act all high and mighty?

In truth, Yun Xuan couldn't afford to physically go against Ruolin in the past. But with her current skills, she was quite confident.

"Miss Wang, I would really like to kill you but that would only make your husband more ardent. That wouldn't be of any benefit to me. Just take it as an alliance, okay?"

At the side, Lin Hancheng scoffed. Women were rather stupid in their way of handling hatred.

He took out his dagger that he had been hiding and threw it at Yun Xuan. It was aimed for her chest...

In the next instant, Ruolin caught it in a flash.

Yun Xuan looked at her in surprise. She might have managed to dodge it but the fact that Ruolin made that move shocked her.

Ruolin rolled her eyes disdainfully. "I'm not trying to save you. If you died, your little imp would have to grow up in my home. Do you think I want that?"

At the side, Lin Ye was angered to the max. He kicked Lin Hancheng in the guts without warning. "How dare you try to attack my wife?!"

The man staggered several steps and coughed out a mouthful of blood. He didn't give up and glared at Lin Ye. "You can keep your arrogance as long as you want. You won't be getting back into your villa anyway." He would leave this place to go to the mortuary.

Lin Ye raised an eyebrow slightly at the provocation. "Oh? Then you will not leave this place on your legs. Do you believe me?"

"Bastard! You're dead!" Lin Hancheng charged foward with rage. He raised his left leg and brought it back down rapidly.

But just as it was going to hit Lin Ye's head and knock him out, he felt himself lose balance.

Lin Ye actually grabbed his leg like it was a twig!

Before he could use his other leg to attack, Lin Ye grabbed it too.

A thud resounded as Lin Hancheng's body hit the ground. He rained several punches and kicks on the man before his anger slightly calmed down.

The man couldn't move much no matter how he tried. His spine must be broken along with his limbs. He hissed in pain. This bastard did it on purpose!

"Tsk. I said you wouldn't leave on your legs but you tried to flaunt them to me. Haiz... there is no cure for idiocity."

He didn't attack anymore. He leaned over and grabbed the man by the collar. "Do you know why I'm leaving you alive? Do you know why I will not kill you no matter how angry I am?

It's because there's no satisfaction on squashing an ant."

Lin Ye straightened his clothes, his dark eyes glaring at the unmoving man. "Besides, your life is just about to become more miserable than your death!"
