Tyler couldn't say anything in his defense. He was really a bad father to be able to let someone drown his son.

But that was not what he wanted either, alright? In fact, Lin Ye's elder brother, Lin Hancheng, had been the one to seek him out. After a lengthy discussion, they had agreed to break Yun Xuan and Lin Ye apart.

Initially Tyler had planned to have Ruolin disguise as a maid and get into Lin Ye's villa. She would definitely have done a perfect job. However, it didn't sound too possible. There were high chances that Ruolin would refuse to go or even mess up the whole plan considering her lingering feelings for him. Was there any woman who would help her love rival get together with the man she wanted?

Also, this plan of his would take ages since Lin Ye wouldn't possibly let her into his house without investigating her background.

They would need some time to create an identity for Ruolin.

So when Lin Ye's brother came up with a better idea, he readily agreed. The so called better idea was to use a maid that was already working in Lin Ye's villa. She and Lin Hancheng shared some complex secrets and he could use them to coerce her into agreeing if she refused to do so. .

The plan was quite exciting.

They had worked out a perfect time for the maid to hold the little boy near the pool, threatening to toss him in. She would also curse and yell at Yun Xuan at the same time to intensify the hatred. They had even directed the whole play together.

The plan was that before anyone else managed to stop her and save the little boy, Tyler would rush out from his spot and snatch the boy from her.

Logically, everyone would be worried silly and as long as he was in the perfect position, no one would manage to stop him. The hero saving the beauty's son… the possible result was well imaginable.

Yun Xuan would obviously leave Lin Ye, scared that her son would be in more danger if they stayed together. He would get back his Xuanxuan while the Lins would have managed to weaken Lin Ye by making him lose the only thing he cared about: Yun Xuan.

They would use the chance to do whatever it was that they wanted to do with him.

However, who would have imagined that after planning for all those days, the maid would turn out to have real grudges against Yun Xuan? She made the act real and actually threw the boy into the pool! This development shocked him too and before he knew it, his love rival had gained the upper hand and saved the little boy.

Tyler thought about something and shot daggers at Lin Hancheng using his eyes. "Is your dumb brother not a cripple?"

The man's expression darkened. "I underestimated that punk. I don't know what he wanted to achieve by faking such a thing as being blind and crippled but I really believed he was."

"That's it. I'm out. It's just a woman… I can get as many women as I want and have sons with them."

Tyler walked out after saying this, though he sneered in his heart. He was going to effortlessly get that woman back. He did not believe that Lin Hancheng wouldn't do anything. Since it had come to this, it was more thrilling to watch them fight and leisurely reap the benefits.

Yun Xuan hated places where she wouldn't be peaceful. Once she felt threatened, she would run back to him for safety.

Yun Xuan sneezed several times in a row.

"Are you cold?" You should go back to the house. Lin Ye asked with a tone full of concern.

"Cold? It's quite warm outside. Perhaps it's just an allergic reaction."

Lin Ye nodded as he helped Yun Feng arrange a few building blocks into a short tower.

"Xuanxuan, I will get to the bottom of this," he declared. "I will find out the mastermind and make him suffer a hundred fold."

"Ok." Naturally, she would be happy if that person paid for their crime. She was not too angry anymore and she really wanted Lin Ye to stay a little longer so she didnt send him off.

There were many building blocks and the two men managed to merge them into mini towers of Yun Feng's height. Of course, Lin He did all the building. Yun Feng's biggest contribution was toppling them over with his toy cars. What took Lin Ye some minutes to merge would go down in two seconds.

After destroying all his hard work, he would look at Lin Ye with his big eyes and flash a cute smile, his expression literally begging Lin Ye to continue building. It made one wonder what was so enjoyable about demolishing towers.

Despite being made into a playmate, Lin Ye dotingly built more at his request.

He neither looked tired nor impatient, he even started teaching the boy to do it himself.

After building towers, they 'drove' toy cars, instructed toy robots, ran, rolled in the grass together and when they finally stopped rolling, their heads and clothes were full of grass. Yun Xuan burst into laughter. There were snowmen, sandmen and then there was them - grassmen.

Lin Ye took off the green blades of grass in the little boy's hair. When he realized what Lin Ye was doing, he also climbed onto Lin Ye's lap and used the new height to remove grass from his head, mimicking Lin Ye's actions.

Yun Xuan watched them with smiles filling her beautiful face. Of course, her camera was at work too. She took several photos and videos of them.

Later at night when she started looking though them, her heart warmed up.

Who said being a father was all about DNA? Love was all that mattered and if you asked her, Lin Ye's eyes were filled with a lot of that as he played with her baby.

No matter who you asked, they would say that Lin Ye was the real father. Their interaction was filled with so much happiness that even she, as the mother, almost questioned her ability to interact with her son.

Compared to that mouthful of pride and temper, even an idiot would know who to choose.

"What are you thinking about?" Xia Rou asked after calling Yun Xuan a few times and not getting any response.

Then she saw a picture on Yun Xuan's camera. "Oh my god! Is that really my little Feng? He looks so cute! So he can be this active!"

Yun Xuan was even happier and gave the camera to Xia Rou. "I took many of them. He played a lot today."

Xia Rou's face was filled with satisfaction. "Just as I thought, Lin Ye is the best man for you and the best father my Little Feng could ever have. When are you thinking of sealing the deal anyway?"

Just like Yun Xuan, all of Xia Rou's previous dissatisfaction faded when she saw how happy her little Feng was.

Yun Xuan looked a tiny bit embarrassed to be discussing this with Xia Rou. "I don't know. When is that idiot going to propose? I cannot propose to a man, now can I?"
