She was shocked. "What? What do you mean not different? It has not improved in the slightest?"

The doctor looked regretful. "While there is some improvement, it is too little to determine anything."

Yun Xuan racked her brains. Logically, she hadn't been doing anything significant and neither had he. How was his health supposed to improve then? "I see. Is there anything that can be done to make him get better soon?"

"Indeed there is. I have prescribed a diet plan for him. If you make sure that he follows it strictly and takes his medication on time, his muscles will be strengthened with time and he might be able to stand again."

"What about the eyes?" Of course. This was important too.

Lin Ye knew this, and that was the exact logic he used.

"It's nothing." He said, before holding her small cold hands. "I'm sorry. In the heat of the moment, I blurted out such words." He was referring to how he altered Yun Feng's name to Lin Feng.

In the next moment, Yun Xuan pulled her hands from his, a flicker of disappointment flashing in her eyes. "You just said it… in the heat of the moment?" You didn't actually mean it?

She couldn't bring herself to ask the second part.

Lin Ye was preparing himself for a scolding from her but was dazed instead. Her tone… why did she sound disappointed?

Not concealing his joy, he let out a cough. "Not exactly. I've always wanted to earn the right to call Little Feng my son and change his surname to Lin."

"Really… you have?" Yun Xuan's heart that had just shattered pieced itself back.

"Every single day. I thought you would be mad at me for calling him that without your permission."

Yun Xuan pounced into his arms when she heard that. She had become fond of hugging him lately. Lin Ye felt giddy from the sudden attack and held her in a tight embrace.

In just a few short days, she seemed to be more accepting of him. At this rate, his confidence was starting to build up. Even if she married him simply for the sake of giving her son a surname, he knew that she would truly fall in love with him one day. Perhaps that day was not too far off.

"Lin Ye, I want to go back to Country G." She suddenly looked up from his shoulder and said.

"What?" Lin Ye was shocked.

"Although I felt the place was unfamiliar the first time I went to Country G, it's really not a bad place. I got used to the environment and I like it. It would be great if I went back… I wouldn't have to worry that Tyler will one day be able to prove that Yun Feng is his son and take him away.
