She didn't complete her statement but Mu Zhichen understood the implication of her words. Was she ready to...

"Are you sure? You don't have to pressure yourself into it."

His hoarse voice made her forget all about her conservativeness and the fear that had been clouding her senses all this while. "I will not regret it. After all..."

She looked into his eyes that were clouded with a thick layer of raging passion. "I don't know when it happened but I fell in love with you. I'm not forcing myself into it. I want to be your woman tonight."

He wad still listening, but her last statement wiped all his remaining rationality away.

He held her neck and pressed his lips against hers, taking them in for a kiss.

Lu Meili was caught off guard and was dazed for a moment. When she realized just how provocative her words had sounded at such a time, she wrapped her arms around his neck and reciprocated his kiss.

Seeing that the girl was comfortable and willing, he cupped her face between his hands and deepened the kiss slightly.

Although he was feeling hot and impatient, he tried his best to keep things slow so she wouldn't get uncomfortable.

His gentle actions sent shivers down Lu Meili's spine, and her legs slowly got weak at the knees. She leaned in his embrace for support.

Mu Zhichen realized this and embraced her tightly, holding her against the wall closest to them.

She ran her fingers through his hair on his scalp and then ran them all the way down the back of his neck. The touch of her soft fingertips melted him into a puddle.

He broke the kiss and went for her ear, whispering in it; "I've been waiting to kiss you all day."

His hot breath lingered on her earlobe, making it go scarlet.

Without waiting for her reply, he invaded her mouth again, touching his tongue with his own gently.

Her heartbeat was faster than ever. She slowly curled her tongue angainst his, sweeping it around his in smooth, circular motions.

Mu Zhichen wrapped her arms firmly but gently around her and rubbed up and down her back. A soft moan escaped her mouth.

He ran his hands even lower, grabbing her butt.

His fingers slithered down to her fair thighs, until he felt the hem of her nightdress.

Looking into her eyes as though seeking permission, he slowly slid it upwards.

Lu Meili gasped when his fingers brushed against her skin.

She looked up and met his gaze as he rid her nighdress.

In the next moment, she felt the rush of air against her now bare breasts.

Her first instinct was to cover them with her hands.

He held the little hands, tugging them away gently. "Honey, let me."

He then cupped her breasts one at a time, stroking them lovingly. Her body submitted to his completely. In the soft setting of his kisses, he stopped and carried her to the bed, laying her gently.

He pealed off his own clothes and, pressing her onto the bed, he slid himself between her thighs. She closed her eyes in embarassment..

She played to the rythm of his caress as she ran out of breath.

When she was ready, he gently entered her body, earning a gasp of pain from her.

He paused and kissed her face lovingly, letting her get used to his size before gradually starting to move.

As he treated her tenderly, the initial discomfort gradually disappeared and her senses were overcome by another unfamiliar feeling - the feeling of pleasure.

The next morning,

The warm rays from the sun peered into the bridal room

The pair of newlyweds was still in slumber.

Their bodies that were entangled on the king-sized bridal bed were like two pieces of a living jigsaw, gaplessly slotted together.

Mu Zhichen was the first to wake up.

He glanced at the little thing snuggled up against his bare chest. Her legs were sticking out of the blanket carelessly.

Their owner had a peaceful expression on her beautiful face. She was even smiling slightly. She must be having sweet dreams...

While he was not dreaming at all. She was really his wife now.

He gently pulled away and let her head rest on a pillow and swung his legs to the side of the bed, climbing off. He grabbed a towel from the drawer beside the bead and wrapped it around his waist.

He covered her legs before proceeding to the bathroom.

Lu Meili rubbed her eyes shortly after he left her side.

Her vision was still blurry. Mu Zhichen was no longer on the bed but she heard some movement emanating from the bathroom. So he was in the bathroom...

Her mind couldn't help thinking about the words he had whispered in her ear the night before, right before she fell asleep. Turned out he loved her, and he had loved her for such a long time.... her heart fluttered with happiness.

She tried to get up but she slumped right back onto bed.

She felt like she had slept for half a decade. Her body hurt all over.

The pain between her thighs served as irrefutable evidence that she was no longer a virgin.

Her face flushed in embarassment. The fact that she was wearing nothing at all made her all the more embarassed.

"You're awake." Mu Zhichen was back, a white towel draped loosely around his waist.

The infamous abs entered her line of sight. She gawked at them, forgetting she was naked.

Mu Zhichen didn't want to make her feel awkward anymore. "Do you want to bath together?"

Lu Meili shook her head like a rattle. "You... go first."

Mu Zhichen leaned over teasingly. "This is your chance to see me clearly. Don't you want to grab it?"

Lu Meili squinted her eyes before she inderstood his words. So he did catch her staring at him the night before? How embarassing!

She curled into the blanket and covered her head.

With a laugh, Mu Zhichen uncovered her. He knew from her actions that she wanted to bath with him, so he simply carried her off the bed to the bathroom.

Soon, the two figures were entangled in the bathtub, soaping each other's body.

His back suddenly went cold at a certain thought.

"What is it?" Lu Meili questioned.

"Sweetie, I didn't take precaution last night. It slipped my mind."

Lu Meili chuckled. "That's alright. It's safe. Besides, I wouldn't mind having a tiny Zhichen in my stomach."

Mu Zhichen held her bare waist and kissed her. "It's not time for that yet. I have to dote on you for at least a few years before we can have kids."

"And how are you going to dote on me?"

"For starters, giving you a perfect honeymoon."

Lu Meili smiled in satisfaction. "Then let's travel the world. Let's have our sweet moments plastered across the globe."

"Okay, where do we start?"

"How about... Country A?"

"Your wish is my command, my wife."

The Lu family felt a sudden emptiness.

The eldest daughter had just married. Of course it would feel empty.

The Xu family felt sad for they had lost such a gem in a flash.

While for the Mu family, their most joyous days had just began.
