Wan Jia chuckled. Of course they had just met. That was why she was not asking when their engagement party or wedding would be.

From the looks of it, that young man wasn't bad. After all, Lu Meili didn't come back home hurling insults and cursing him like many women would do after meeting hooligans on their blind dates.

Lu Aotian put aside his business magazine. "There's no such thing as 'too early' in a blind date marriage. Are you trying to imply that you should take it slow with Zhichen, date for years and when you realize that you are not truly compatible, break up and go on another blind date?"

Lu Meili had no word to retaliate. He did make sense. If she was going to take it slow, she should have looked for a friend instead, not a blind date. "I'll bring him home then."

"Good. When you are ready, you should pay a visit to your Uncle Mu."

Lu Meili didn't find it unpleasant. This was normal, right? The last time, Mu Zhichen had casually said that he was on a blind date because he was under immense pressure to get married. It was no surprise that she was being half-rushed too.
