"Oh no, I haven't found a good hiding spot yet." Little Jia muttered to herself.

She looked around and couldn't find any suitable spot. She had unintentionally seen Tangtang heading east.

Decisevely, she followed him. He was the one who would always find the best hiding places. No one ever won against him in their games of hide-and-seek. This time, they were playing some distance away from home. It was even more obvious that no one would find him.

The boy stood up and wiped the grass off his shorts quickly. Before Little Jia got to him, he rushed to her instead. "Little Jia, hush."

He took her hand and led her away, his expression terrified as though he had seen a ghost. "Let's get out of here. Quick."

"Wait. Tangtang, what happened?"

The boy was very nervous. "I... s-aw..."

Little Jia was scared off by his expression. "What did you see?"

Tangtang glanced back at the cliff one last time, then he continued urging her. "I didn't see anything. Hurry up. If we don't hide soon, Katy will catch us."

Little Jia stopped and looked back. What did he see?

"Little Jia?"

Little Jia tore her gaze away and ran to catch up with him.

"You are so fast." Tangtang commented. He wouldn't dare to race against her even though she was a girl and younger than him at that.
