Lu Aotian coaxed Wan Jia to sleep. Then with a light giggle, he touched the face of the small girl beside his wife. That was his daughter.

How tiny. She looked fragile like a porcelain doll. He was even scared that if he was not careful enough, he would hurt her.

She was so calm and moved very little. If he didn't see her tiny chest move from her breathing, he would have thought that she was unconcious.

Because of the sound proof door, he had not heard her cry. It was almost as though he was looking at a doll.

Gently, he took up the extremely tiny sleeping beauty into his arms.

She was so light that it was almost strange how Wan Jia had managed to be tired out from her weight. She had fallen asleep after seeing her husband.

"How are they?" The rest of the family members came in. They had been waiting for Lu Aotian to leave the hospital room but soon realized how silly they were. His wife had just had a baby. Could he leave her for even a second?

They rushed to check on the tiny girl in his arms.

"She can actually breath? I thought she would need to stay in the incubator for a while." Lin Lihua asked with her eyebrows raised. How brilliant!

"This is Lu Aotian's daughter you are talking about. Watch your words." Lu Aotian glared at her coldly.

Lin Lihua chuckled. Did she say anything wrong? The baby was a premie. What was wrong with what she had said?

Lu Aotian signalled for them to keep their voices down. Wan Jia had just fallen asleep.

"Aotian."

Lu Aotian looked at her. He glared at Lin Lihua who had been too loud then rested his gaze on her. "Honey, how are you feeling?"

Wan Jia smiled sweetly. "Can I hold her?"

Lin Lihua helped her to sit up. Lu Aotian gently placed the little bundle into her arms.

Wan Jia had affection filled in her eyes as she lowered her head to kiss that tiny face.

"She's so cute." Her voice was still trembling slightly.

Lu Aotian held her shoulders. "She is Lu Aotian's and Wan Jia's baby. It would be surprising if she wasn't cute."

The ignored Lin Lihua, Xia Rou, Lu Tongyan, Lu Shaoting and Doctor Qiao were speechless.

"Have you thought of a name yet?" Lu Tongyan was too excited to keep his mouth shut.

Wan Jia finally noticed their presence and said hello.

Lu Aotian was silent, letting her suggest a name first.

"We will name her Lu Xianli." She finally said after thinking for a while. She wanted her son to be called Lu Xianyu. Since it was a girl instead, it should be Lu Xianli.

"What a beautiful pair of names. "Lu Meili and Lu Xianli."

Xia Rou reached to hold her fourth granddaughter. This day had finally come. The baby did not seem to tell the difference between the people who held her. She was still a newborn so she must have thought that they were all Wan Jia.

When she didn't hear her mother's voice for a while, she stirred and cried. Wan Jia was fast and took her from Doctor Qiao's arms and coaxed her. "Don't cry, mommy is right here."

Something crossed Wan Jia's mind and she held onto Lu Aotian's arm with her other hand. "We should arrange for Little Jia's surgery soon. Aunty Qiao, could we trouble you to help us make arrangements?"

"Anything for you my dear. If possible, the surgery will be done within five days."

"Thank you Aunty Qiao."

Doctor Qiao waved her hands. "Don't mention it. Xia and I are best friends. You, Little Wan, and your sister are just like daughters to me."

Later, the doctors ran tests on Lu Xianli. When they were certain that the tiny girl was alright, they ran full body tests on Wan Jia as well.

They discharged both of them later in the day.

The Lu and Lin families were all happy that after worrying for so long, both Wan Jia and Lu Xianli turned out to be fine in the end. It was a relief.

Little Jia had already arrived from school.

"Mommy?" She was surprised that her mother no longer had a stomach "already as big as a basketball". Instead, there was a small bundle in Lu Aotian's arms.

Her eyes widened in pleasant surprise and she ran over excitedly when she understood what this meant. "A little brother?"

Wan Jia rubbed her head. "Not a brother. Congratulations, our Little Jia finally has a little sister."

Little Jia was slightly disappointed. Her eyes drooped and her voice broke slightly. "But I wanted a brother."

Wan Jia and Lu Aotian exchanged an awkward look.

"Princess, behave yourself. Not everyone is able to have a sister. Daddy here, for example, never had one no matter how much I hoped for one. You should be thankful that you managed to have a sister."

Little Jia hugged his leg. "But you have Uncle Shaoting. A brother is good too."

She realized what her father was trying to explain and scratched her head. "Alright. A sister is good too. All that matters is how much we love each other. Daddy, I will love my little sister and dote on her like a good elder sister."

Wan Jia smiled. Actually, Little Jia was just being honest about what she really wanted. No one could blame her.
