They watched Tyler leave, emitting an aura of dejection.

To keep up their act to the end, they left the hotel still acting like a married couple by holding hands.

Yun Xuan expressed her gratitude, not at all feeling awkward that she had stripped herself of the title of a former superior before her subordinate. For some reason, Lin Ye gave off a certain vibe that made her feel like he was her superior instead.

"If only I had a way to repay you for what you did..."

Lin Ye felt his heart fill with ecstasy. He initially did not know how to spend one hour with her with her but now he did. He would make sure to ask as many questions as possible to buy time. Of course he would not ask anything that intruded her privacy too much.

"Where shall we go?"

He almost chopped off his own tongue when the question was out. Luckily, Yun Xuan knew nothing about his feelings for her. If she did, that question would have sounded ambiguous or even vulgar.
