Henry Blanc had nothing more to say. Since she understood this already, it was impossible for their relationship to be soured because of his mother's misunderstanding.

He hoped that with time, she would stop being bitter about Amy Blanc's sentence and be on good terms with Lin Lihua again.

"Can we pay a visit to Ruoxi soon?" She asked. Since she had been asking about her very many times, the orphanage director was finally convinced that Ruoxi was really the child that Lin Lihua wanted to adopt.

The orphanage director could not quite comprehend rich people's train of thought. What exactly did Lin Lihua see in Ruoxi?

That was one dull girl who had no friends because of her dull nature.

Of all the kids in the orphanage, her background was the worst. It was said that her home had been robbed and her parents murdered in cold blood while she watched.
