"This is the right way to do it." She said.

Lin Lihua knew this too. "What you guys were going to do is illegal."

They were going to torture him for at least half a month before giving him up to the court.

Lu Shaoting was displeased but there was nothing he could do. He could only let them arrest General Yun. He glared at Lin Lihua, who patted his shoulder like he was a little boy. "It's alright. This is for everyone's good. The Lu family is the nation's top family. I know you and Lu Aotian don't care but it's not beneficial for you to be involved in any sort of crime, even if it's for revenge."

One had to know, although they had a lot of evidence against the Yuns, most of it was obtained through hacking, bugging and coercion. Many people may not realize it but what if someone knew? It could be used against them. Of course, they knew this. They just did not bother about it. Was there anyone who would question Lu Aotian?

"We are just worried that if that happens, my little sister's and my niece's reputations would get tarnished along with yours." Lin Lihua added ruthlessly. "Do you think this is one of those melodramatic movies and novels where male leads can kill as they please and still be loved? This is real life. If you hurt people deliberately, you have to pay for it."

Lu Shaoting knew that this was not her only reason but he kept his mouth shut. He would ask Xia Rou why she changed the plan later. Arguing with women like Lin Lihua was a waste of effort. He wouldn't win anyway, so he may as well save his time. He had better things to do.

Lin Lihua sighed in relief when he left. Xia Rou had sent her today to make sure neither of her brothers-in-law got their hands stained with blood. Especially not the blood of such undeserving people. Ultimately, it was for Wan Jia.

She looked for Katy to go back to Henry Blanc's villa. Henry Blanc had some things to handle and would be back the next day.

Katy had fallen asleep in the room that Wan Jia had prepared for the kids earlier. Little Jia and Tangtang were also asleep. There were many toys lying around, those they had played with before falling asleep.

She wondered whether she should help them get home as well. But, Kara came in with small Xixi in her arms and Xu Liaowen beside her. "You're here to pick Katy? Wanwan said to help her take Little Jia home. She and Lu Aotian have things to handle and will only be back tomorrow."

As though they had previously agreed to appear at the same time, Lu Shaoting came too. "Don't worry. I'll take Little Jia; I'm going to Southside as well."

Little Jia heard her uncle's voice in her sub conscience and stirred in her sleep.

Actually, the kids all heard Lu Shaoting's voice and had reactions.

Little Jia rubbed her eyes with one hand and stretched out the other. "Second Uncle."

Lu Shaoting smiled at his adorable niece and picked her up. Alas, the other kids woke up too, and wanted a hug from Lu Shaoting. Even Small Xixi, who was the only child awake, stuck out her tiny limbs trying to cling to him. The scene was comical.

"Does this man have a superpower that kids like? He just had to speak and all of them woke up to cling to him." Lin Lihua exclaimed. Even Katy liked Lu Shaoting. Just what did the kids see in him?

Kara had nothing to say. Her children liked Lu Shaoting so much that they would throw a tantrum if they didn't see him in a long time. Actually, Small Xixi was currently blabbering with her mouth of one tooth when she saw that Lu Shaoting was not reaching to carry her.

Speechless, Lu Shaoting could only put Little Jia down temporarily and hug the one-toothed small Xixi. He then proceeded to hug Tangtang and Katy as well. When he was done, he was finally allowed to take Little Jia home. Of course, Small Xixi was fitful and cried when he left.

Lin Lihua carried Katy in her arms and left the room too. The girl was surprised, not expecting Lin Lihua to carry such a big girl like her. Although Henry Blanc still carried her in his arms once in a while, her mother kept saying that she was too old to be carried, kissed, called using nicknames and told bedtime stories. If anyone asked her, she missed being spoiled by her mother. She had stopped treating her like a kid once she turned four. When she learnt that Little Jia still enjoyed being pampered by her mother, she was inevitably envious.

Lin Lihua saw her surprised eyes. "You are already very sleepy."

So she was carrying her so she could continue sleeping…
