"Brother, how can you say such things?" Amy Blanc felt disgraced. This was one of the most humiliating things a man could say to a woman. The fact that it came from her own brother's mouth didn't make it sound any better.

"Do you know what kind of person that woman is? She is an actress! What if she is putting on an act for you and actually has a different motive? Yet because of her, you can say such things to your sister."

Henry Blanc was indifferent. "You have so much to say about my private life. Not only that, you are now forcefully making decisions on behalf of the company when you are not the CEO. After saying that, he walked out without letting her explain herself. She was not going to say anything reasonable anyway. As for who the evil woman was, Katy of course understood. Her mother had mentioned it so many times that she had lost count.

Though she wondered, was he really going to marry that woman if she was evil? Although she was young, she knew that Henry Blanc was a nice person. Not to mention, her grandparents who were nice people too, often spoke well of her future aunt and called her to chat so often that Henry Blanc once warned them to not bother her.

Was there an evil person who was liked by so many people? From the fairytales she read, she knew that everyone hated villains.

Never mind, she would ask grandma about it.

Three days after their return, Lu Shaoting finally found time to meet up with Su Ling. On the first day and the second, he would only send her a message to check on her before going to bed. Still, this was understandable because he was creating time to spend with her. They had a lot of matters to talk about that couldn't be done over the few free minutes he had to spare.

If it wasn't because Su Ling understood that he had a lot of work to do, and the fact that he loved her, she would become paranoid and think he suddenly didn't want her anymore.

When she finally saw him, she threw herself into his arms, her body cold and forlorn. "You're finally here. I missed you."

Lu Shaoting held her tightly as though he wanted to mould her into his own body.

"With my insanely handsome looks, wouldn't it be weird if you didn't miss me?"

Su Ling was speechless.

"Have you had dinner yet? I was preparing ingredients to cook pork ribs just now. We can eat together."

Lu Shaoting didn't want his little woman to feel embarassed, so he didn't tease her. "She should have cooked before leaving. I don't want my wife to spend too much time in the kitchen."
