When Wan Jia got home, the first thing she did was look for her husband. As expected, he wasn't in bed but in the study, overworking himself when he shouldn't be. She walked right behind him and held his head. "Are you taking advantage of the fact that I went out to work the night away?"

Lu Aotian pulled her onto his lap. "What took you so long?"

She looked away guiltily. "I got entangled in gossip with my sister and lost track of time."

A few steps towards the master bedroom, she remembered something and turned back, just in time to hear him scolding someone on phone. "I told you that's sick. Why did you still…"

Perhaps because he felt her presence, he stopped speaking and hung up.

Wan Jia forgot all about what she wanted to say and rushed towards the master bedroom.

Lu Aotian went after her and held her from behind. "Why are you running away?"

She turned and looked at him expressionlessly. "I don't want to hear things you don't want me to hear. " He stopped speaking just now because he didn't want her to know what he was talking about, right?
