Lu Aotian saw her expression and understood what she was talking about. "You're on your period?"

Wan Jia nodded. "I'm starting to think there's something wrong with me. Do you think I should go for another test?"

The next day, Lu Aotian had already made an appointment in the hospital. She took a day off from Elite Fashion World and let Lu Aotian accompany her to the hospital. They had booked an appointment with the best gynecologist in the nation C.

"President Lu, Mrs. Lu." The gynecologist greeted them when they arrived. "Everything is ready. Mrs. Lu can have the tests right away."

"Mmh." Lu Aotian led Wan Jia towards her office.

The gynecologist coughed awkwardly. "Erm…President Lu…"

"Is anything the matter?" Lu Aotian asked expressionlessly.

"Yes, erm…men are not allowed beyond this point." The gynecologist really felt she had used up all her courage from ten lifetimes to dare to stop Lu Aotian. It's just that she had to do it.

The man dragged the gynecologist aside and made her sit properly then faced Wan Jia with his mask still on. "Shouldn't your first reaction be to scream? What kind of woman are you?"

Wan Jia made herself comfortable. "Why would I scream? You wouldn't hurt me."

"How sure are you that I wouldn't hurt you?"

Wan Jia rolled her eyes like his question was stupid. "The door isn't locked and the first person you attacked was her. If you wanted to hurt me, that would be too careless of you."

"Indeed." Said the man.

"So, why are you here?"

The man silently tugged on his mask. To say that Wan Jia wasn't in the slightest scared would be exaggerating. She was in fact so scared that she felt chills down her back. She just couldn't let her fear show on her face, but she couldn't bring herself to escape. Curious to know who this was, she watched him take off his mask.

"Just…don't scream. I will not manage to tell you what I should if Lu Aotian's attention is piqued."

"I see."
