In the days that followed, Wan Jia helped Lu Aotian out with the simple company matters that she could handle. She would drop by Lu Enterprises when she had time to spare. Drastically, his workload decreased and at the same time, she became familiar with many business related things. Also, their relationship improved even more thanks to the increased amount of time they were spending together.

On a certain night, Wan Jia checked on some drafts she had drawn many times over. She had to check that it was perfect.

The little dress was a one of a kind special creation; her first little girl princess dress.

She flipped the page to reveal a men's tuxedo and on the third page, a beautiful dress meant for herself. The last page also had a little princess dress of a different type to complete the family attire. When she produced them, the three ourfits would be complimentary.

"Still busy?" Lu Aotian's charming voice came from behind her.

He had sneaked into the study room when she was too engrossed in her drafts and stood behind her.

If Wan Jia was not used to his ability to walk without drawing attention, she would have screamed in horror.

She turned and shot him a smile. "I'm almost done. This is Little Jia's birthday present. Do you think it's cute?" She showed him the drafts.

"She will really love it." He said after seeing the adorable draft.

She felt proud of herself. "I think so too. Check this out; you and I have to wear this for her birthday party. If Little Jia doesn't mind, she can wear this last one."

Lu Aotian looked at her with a complicated expression. Well...he had bought the little girl a very pretty custom made dress for her birthday present. It had cost a fortune. He also hoped she would wear it for her birthday party.

Forget it, it would be even better if the little girl had three to choose from.

The couple did not know, but Xia Rou was also currently designing a special dress for her granddaughter. To be fair, she would make one each for her daughters too.

Well, Little Jia now had four dresses to choose from. Her chances of being the prettiest four year old were even higher now.

"You should go to sleep." Lu Aotian said sternly.

"Give me just a few minutes, okay? I'll join you in bed." She raised her five fingers to signify five minutes.

Lu Aotian shot her a serious look. "Mrs. Lu, did you convince your husband to have enough rest so you can work late into the night yourself?"

"When have I worked late into the night?" She protested. This man was accusing her falsely.

"Then how can you explain the bullying?" He sounded as though he was complaining.

"What bullying? Mr. Lu, are you trying to accuse me of bullying you?"

"Mrs. Lu. I've been a monk for so long. If this is not bullying, what is it?" When he finished his statement, he directly carried her off the chair and headed for their bedroom.

"So long? It's only been five days!" She held onto his neck as she retaliated.

"That's so long...."

The next morning.

"Do your employees know that you are such a devil?" Wan Jia glared at the man who had "tortured" her all night. She still had to go to work, alright? Could he not be such a hooligan?

"You wouldn't tell them." He leaned in for a kiss.

Wan Jia evaded him sharply. "President. Lu, I have a lot of work to do today. I will be late if I don't take a bath now.

She rushed into the bathroom as soon as she said that. She had to get away from this hooligan fast!

While the happy Lu family was gladly counting away the days and nights as they awaited their princess' birthday, on another part of the city, another family could already be considered as one facing many difficulties.

"I can take care of myself. As long as I'm near you, I will be safe."

"That won't do. Darling, I will hire bodyguards to protect you. Besides, he is your father. Would he really hurt you? He just wants us to be apart. Darling, I will take you away soon, okay?"

He really wanted to. He wanted to go to a far away place just with her. He would be away from the Qin family and she would away from the Yun family. Nothing else would ever come between them.
