She could not accept this outcome.

By the time Lu Shaoting was done showering, the effect of the drug on her was so strong that she was weak. She vaguely saw him come out in a towel, take his clothes and dress up speedily. She only reacted when she saw him leave.

"Shaoting, don't go."

Lu Shaoting had taken a cold bath and he was sober now. This Yan Xue! No wonder everything about her was strange today. He was so angry that he did not let out a single peep. He would kill her if he let his anger out.

"Stay with me. Just for tonight, okay?" Her voice was now very thin and pitiful. She didn't care if Lu Shaoting didn't love her. As long as she got to be with him once, perhaps she might forget about him.

The man smirked. How many men could resist beautiful women clinging onto them and literally begging them to stay? Besides, he seemed to know this woman: Yan Xue from the Yan family.

Wordlessly, he entered the room and carried her to bed.

The next morning, Yan Xue had a headache when she woke up.

She groaned. It was just one sip of wine. How did she get so drunk?

Then she recalled. She had drugged it. Where the heck did her sister buy such a strong drug? Just a single sip and down she went?

Her whole body ached. Even worse, she felt as though she had been torn apart down there. That was right...she had done it with Shaoting! A smile appeared on her face. It hurt a lot but since she had done it with the man she loved, the pain was worth it.

Yan Xue shook her head. "I'm not too sure about that." She was not clear-headed herself.
