He glared at Su Ling and turned to Wan Jia.

"Sister-in-law, can I speak to your assistant for a while?"

Su Ling shook her head at Wan Jia. Lu Shaoting saw that and intensified his glare. Without waiting for Wan Jia's answer, he pulled Su Ling out.

Wan Jia held in her laughter. She would have really loved it if she could follow them and take videos of their love story. Why did they have to make it so adventurous?

Lu Shaoting draggged Su Ling into Emerald Grand Hotel and booked a presidential suite. He dragged her all the way into the suite.

Behind them, the staff had their jaws on the floor.

Their Vice President Lu....and a woman?! This had to he inscribed in the books of history!

"What do you want?" Su Ling asked as soon as the door was locked. She had asked that question countless times in the car and was only met with silence. What was this man up to?

"What do I want? You still have the audacity to ask that?"

Su Ling shrugged off his hand. "Let me go."

Lu Shaoting tightened his grip on her wrist. "For how long do you want to pretend?" She obviously liked him. Why was she still pretending to not want anything to do with him?

Su Ling looked aside. "I don't want to get in trouble with your woman."

"What woman? I already told you...."

"She came to find me." she said.

"I already told you, you are the only woman I like. What did you say?"

Su Ling remained silent.

"Speak up. What woman sought you?" She still did not speak. Her guts were too thick.

He frowned. "We are here already. Why do you still want to act?"

"Who told you I want to be here?" She retorted.

He smirked his lips. "Then I'll keep you here until you want to be here." He dragged her to the bed and pulled off his tie, intending to tie her up.

"Lu Shaoting! This is illegal!" She shouted.

The man looked into her eyes. "Really? Then I'll do something even more illegal." He held her chin and kissed her lips deeply. Wanting to explore more, he reached for her blouse.

Su Ling was scared and kicked him instinctively.

As soon as the kick landed, she looked at him worriedly. She had just acted in a moment of fear. What he just said about doing something even more illegal really made her imagination run wild. Would he be angry?

In actual fact, she did not wish to be rude to him. She loved him very much. It was just that if she went ahead and became his woman, that Yan Xue might really send him her past medical records. Would Lu Shaoting really tolerate a woman like her? Who knew? Perhaps he was under the impression that since she was currently single, she might as well be some chaste girl.

Lu Shaoting looked at her coldly. Keep acting! He turned on his heel and left, banging the door behind him.

In his car, he made a decision. He had been going against his father all this while for Su Ling, but that woman only pretended not to like him and treated him with so much spite. Did he deserve such treatment?

The decision he made was to try dating Yan Xue. Who knows, perhaps he might like her or even,after a while, love her?

He took out his phone and called her.

"Shaoting?" The voice sounded obviously surprised. Yan Xue would never even in her wildest dreams think of being called by Lu Shaoting. Yet today, he did it on his own accord? Of course she would be surprised.

"Do you have plans this evening?" He asked.

Yan Xue felt her heart get striken by lightning. She had made plans with her girlfriends this evening.

Whatever! They are not as important as Shaoting. "I don't. Do you need me for something?" She had used all her power to remain calm.

Lu Shaoting's charming voice came through her ear. "Let's have dinner this evening. I'll send you the adress. Forget it, I'll pick you up."

Yan Xue was overjoyed and swallowed hard. "Okay."

As long as the call was hung up, she let out a squeel and looked for her sister.

"Sis, can you see anything different about me?"

Her sister looked at her. "Aside from your hair looking too messy?"

Yan Xue frowned. "You're too mean. Forget my hair. I'll get it done right now. Lu Shaoting asked me out!"

"What?"

"I was shocked too! He must be developping feelings for me! Didn't I tell you?"

Her sister looked at her like she was an idiot of sorts. "You are too delusional. That man has obviously been jilted by that woman. He's only using you as a replacement. If not, he's trying to make her jealous."

Yan Xue felt sad when she heard that. "So I shouldn't go?"

Her sister gave an evil smile. "You should go, but you have to make your position permanent. If that woman wants to crawl back to him later, she will not be able to."

She had to admit that her sister had a point. "How can I make that possible?"

Her sister enunciated every word clearly. "Drug him."
