As for the question she had just asked, he did not answer her. Was he supposed to tell her that he accepted Mr. Blanc's business deal because he wanted CX to make her and Little Jia beautiful custom shoes for the little girl's birthday? There was still three months and two weeks before Little Jia's birthday.
After a while, Wan Jia switched on her phone only for Lu Shaoting's messages to come flooding in. She chuckled.

"Your brother and his love interest are locked up in my office. I think it's time to release them." she said.
Lu Aotian was speechless at how naughty this little woman was. Wasn't she scared that they would kill each other?
Wan Jia wanted to stay in Lu Enterprises and enjoy the view as she did her work, so she sent Lu Aotian's assistant to Elite Fashion World to open the door for the exploding couple.
Meanwhile, the exploding couple had literally exploded. After confronting each other for what seemed like ages to them, they finally calmed down and listened to each other.
Su Ling explained that she did not wish to be termed as the delusional woman who seduced another woman's fiancé despite not deserving the man. Lu Shaoting explained that Yan Xue had nothing to do with him and that he had been forced to go on a blind date with her, but he had already told Yan Xue that he had someone he liked and the girl had understood.
Despite his explanation, Su Ling was still not willing to be his girlfriend because of their difference in social status. Lu Shaoting really needed advice from his expert love guru or else he would go crazy just trying to chase Su Ling.
When Lu Aotian's assistant unlocked the door, they no longer had strong hatred towards each other. So Lu Shaoting offered to take Su Ling out for lunch, as well as to buy her a new phone.

As they entered the restaurant, it was perhaps out of their bad luck that they had to bump into Yan Xue.
Lu Shaoting had a wild idea. Since Su Ling liked him but still wanted to act out, why not make her jealous? He had seen many girls like her in television series. They would pretend not to like a man but as soon as they saw him with someone else, they would be so jealous that they would confess their true feelings.
Taking a deep breath, he smiled at Yan Xue who was still pondering whether to go over and say hi. Yan Xue was stunned.
Lu Shaoting peered at Su Ling and saw that she was about to explode in anger. He smiled, pleased with himself. He could even go a little farther!
He dragged Su Ling over to say hi to Yan Xue.
She introduced, "Pretty Xue, this is Su Ling." Just a name. Nothing else. Then he introduced Yan Xue in a more intimate manner. "Ling, meet Yan Xue. You could call us childhood friends if one-sidedly sticking onto me counts."
Yan Xue laughed at the weird form of introduction but she was not embarassed. Lu Shaoting continued, "When we were little, she was so pretty that everyone called her 'Little flower'. If you don't believe me, you can take a look at her now."
Yan Xue blushed. "Shaoting, you flatter me. I was at most just among the pretty girls but you and your brother were the top and second most handsome boys."
At that point, if she had not realized that Lu Shaoting was trying to make his girl jealous, then her IQ would be meaningless. She decided to help him out a little and held his arm.
Su Ling scanned the beauty before her. Of course she was beautiful. Everything about her exuded of beauty and elegance. When the beauty held Lu Shaoting's arm, even she had to admit that they looked beautiful together.

The two of them treated her like she was part of the air and went on and on about their past together. Only they knew that they were simply making up things to rile Su Ling up.
Only when Yan Xue saw that Su Ling was on the verge of detonating did she let go of Lu Shaoting's arm and make and excuse to leave. Even then, she did not forget to hug him flirtatiously.
As she left, Yan Xue sneered. "I thought Lu Shaoting's woman would be a goddess of at least that new designer from EFW's level." As someone with a good eye for fashion, she had heard about Wan Jia and seen her photos. If Lu Shaoting's woman was that beautiful, she would have admitted defeat but what was so good about Su Ling? Was Lu Shaoting blind? Hmph! I will open his eyes and make him see me.
