Wan Jia was just in time for her appoitment with Lu Aotian.

The man had been in a meeting with the seniors of his company right after meeting some trade patners. He was so tired that he did not mind Lu Shaoting who was following him like a shadow.

When he entered his office, hugged Wan Jia and still saw the human shadow following him, he glared at him coldly.

Lu Shaoting wordlessly fled for his life leaving Wan Jia laughing her lungs out. "Why did you scare him away?"

Lu Aotian locked the door and kissed her deeply before he answered her. "He's too bright. Can't he see?"

Wan Jia laughed. "I called him over. We have something to ask for your instructions about. No, actually, I should be the one asking you."

Lu Aotian sat on the sofa and pulled her to sit on his lap. "Is it about the thing you stole from the Yun mansion? You want to ask me whether you should go for a DNA test?"

Wan Jia looked at him. "How did you know? Did Shaoting already tell you?"

"Do I need Shaoting to tell me something so obvious? Even if I pulled a random person off the streets, they would be able to guess correctly."

"You're right. That's what I wanted to ask you about."

Lu Aotian smiled. "My love, it's all about you. Initially I was going to use a very safe approach but you already did it."

She couldn't help but ask, "How were you going to do it?"

"He goes to the military hospital for treatment and check ups. That's just one of the plans I had in mind."

Wan Jia was not ready to hear his plans in detail. She knew that he would make it sound so easy that she would despise herself for her 'grand' plan.

"Did you eat lunch? Your schedule was so full earlier."

"No."

Just as she expected.

"What a coincidence, I brought you take out. I knew you would skip lunch." She pointed at the take out box that he had not noticed on his desk. "Eat first then discuss the business matter."

After his lunch, he switched to 'workaholic president' mode and looked at her like he would look at his subordinates. "Have you ever thought of becoming someone's personal designer?" he asked.

Wan Jia frowned. "No, I haven't. Why would you ask?"

"EFW recieved several emails from people who want you to be their personal designer."

The CEO of Elite Fashion World had recieved these emails and fowarded them to Lu Aotian since she was signed to Lu Enterprises.

Before making a decision, Lu Aotian wanted to seek her opinion first.

The news shocked Wan Jia. "Why me?"

Lu Aotian explained, "It's not that strange. Many designers from EFW have been hired off in the past. It's quite normal considering how famous you got in a short amount of time. Your creations are youthful and beautiful, fulfiling all their requirements."

She looked down in thought then asked, "Will my contract still remain with Lu Enterprises?"

Lu Aotian nodded. "Even if you permanently became someone's personal designer forever, all the negotiation is between your superior and that person."

"Oh..."

"However, I must give you a heads up. You may be extremely busy. Some of these ladies are not easy to please. You will have to make custom outfits regularly according to their stylists' requirements and that too depends on their mood. To be safe, you will need to have a large collection for them to pick from as they please."

"If I'm not too busy, will I be allowed to work for someone else too?"

"That shouldn't be a problem if you can handle it, but I don't want you to work too hard."

Wan Jia found it a little more complicated than she expected but if she chose to accept it, she would go with the flow. She was not afraid of working hard.

"Then can I see the emails?"

He showed them to her and she read them speechlessly. Supermodels, famous actresses, the mayor's wife and daughter, the national president's daughter, daughters of known wealthy businessmen...what in the world? She was not some famous and experienced designer. She was only a rookie who had been in the fashion industry for less than a year. What was with these people?

Lu Aotian understood her shock and explained, "Most of those ladies from rich families are customers of Elite Fashion World. It's normal for human beings to want to keep admirable things to themselves. As for the models and actresses, surely you know better than anyone where they came from, right?"

Right. She had made Lin Lihua a few dresses for banquets. If her fellow models and actresses asked her about it, she would obviously mention Wan Jia. In a way, she had boosted her fame and consequently, her value too.

"I owe Sis Lihua a present." she smiled.

Lu Aotian instantly complained. "What about me? EFW worked hard too."

"Childish." she scolded and pecked his lips.

"That's not enough."

He was ignored. "My love, none of these people give me the inspiration to create anything."

"Are people supposed to give you inspiration?"

"It's fashion language. I don't blame people like you for not understanding."

"I dare you to say that again." He held her waist dangerously.

She once again struggled to ignore him. "Can we go to the hospital today?"
