"But master said that you should eat something when you wake up."

"Where is he?"

"He went to the backyard just now."

"Mmh." she nodded and went to look for them. The scene she witnessed when she arrived was quite heartwarming.

Lu Aotian had been watching Little Jia play with her Brownie for a while without interrupting. They looked extremely adorable.

"Princess." he finally called her.

"Daddy! She was excited when she saw him, but stopped herself from running into his arms because she had just touched the kitten.

The little playful kitten was excited when it saw Lu Aotian and ran towards him.

"Brownie, no!" Little Jia screamed.

But she was too late. It jumped onto Lu Aotian and even clung onto his t-shirt with its claws.

"You bad cat!" Little Jia scolded. "Daddy..." she cried worriedly.

Lu Aotian smiled and patted the playful thing clinging on his chest. "It's okay." He had applied the antidote onto his arms and chest as per the doctor's instructions before leaving the house.

Little Jia was relieved. She glared fiercly at the kitten still hanging on her father's t-shirt. "Brownie! Get down here right now! If you dare to hurt my daddy, I'll beat you into a pulp and kick you out!"

"Meow..." Brownie jumped down and purred pitifully after being scolded by its owner.

"What 'meow'? Don't even think of hurting my Daddy. Go play on your own."

Lu Aotian found it adorable that his daughter was now protecting him.

Even the servants watching over Little Jia found it cute.

"Daddy..." with the kitten now gone, she called Lu Aotian cutely with her eyes expressing that she wanted a hug.

Wan Jia, who was watching from afar laughed lightly. So the little girl was just jealous that Brownie got to hug her daddy before her.

Lu Aotian picked the little girl up and put her on his shoulder. Then he sprinted foward.

"Ahhh I am tall!" Little Jia screamed cheerfully. "Daddy, daddy chase after Brownie." After running around for a while, he held the little girl and teased her by sprinting to the fountain nearby and threatening to drop her in.

The little girl was scared for a while and screamed her lungs out.

"If Daddy throws Little Jia into the fountain, Daddy's heart will hurt." she sobbed.

Wan Jia's heart felt warm just by watching them. This was the exact atmosphere of a happy family that she hoped for. She could not believe that not too many months ago, she had returned to the country intending to steal Little Jia away. Would she have missed out on such happiness? "Mommy!" Little Jia noticed her.

"You guys are having lots of fun?"

Wan Jia laughed so hard that her stomach hurt. "Can your tiny legs race against me?" Have you ever seen a snail challenging a tiger to a race?

The little girl insisted and when the race began, Wan Jia was thinking of intentionally letting her baby win but the little girl had other plans. "Daddy, carry me."

Wan Jia almost tripped and fell. So you challenged me because you have a sure-win cheating machine?!

At night, Wan Jia snuck into Lu Aotian's room.The man was just about to go to bed and was happy to see her.

"What a coincidence, I have some business matters to discuss with you."

"President Lu, can we discuss business matters in your office? Right now, I don't want to talk about that."

She went foward and hugged him. "I want to sleep with you. Literally sleep."
