He glared at her. "You call that fine? From what I saw, you got Madam Yun's location wrong. What if the person you were wrong about was that man instead? Would you still be alive? You even think it's something to be proud of? You should be ashamed of yourself!"
Wan Jia had no way to refute this. He was right. If the person who went back home at that time was not Madam Yun, they would be dead. She was in fact only alive because Madam Yun liked her. What if she hated her?

Lu Aotian knitted his brows with his eyes still closed. "Even if you act cute with me, I will not forgive you."

"Not even if you call me 'husband'.
Wan Jia heard what he said and let go of his arm. He was still angry. After thinking a bit, she bolted into the kitchen and came back minutes later with two durians. She was out of breath as she said coaxingly, "My love, I'll punish myself by kneeling on durians, okay?"

Lu Aotian did not even open his eyes. "Even if you crawl on a path full of durians, you will not get away with this."
She put the durians away in disappointment. Just what should she do?...Got it!

The room sank into silence. Just as he was about to open his eyes and see what she was doing, he felt someone crawl onto his body and kiss his lips.
She had taken off her dress and only had her undergarments on now. She rubbed her body against him and whispered in his ear. "Husband, forgive me this once, okay?"
