My Beautiful Love Chapter 199

"I suspected you were related to her some time back and confirmed it not too long ago. She and I...you could say we were in very good terms until you happened."
Wan Jia's heart fell. Could it be that they fell out because General Yun cheated on her with her mother?
Madam Yun continued, "She was a kind woman but she was too unlucky... if she's still alive, I will leave it to her to tell you everything herself."
"Can you tell me who she is then? I'll investigate if she is alive or not."
"Xi...ahem....No. She may not like it. However, are you sure Yun is really your father? She hated him to the bones. If she concieved his child, I'm not too sure that she would keep it ." Madam Yun kept a bunch of words to herself that if she siad out aloud, Wan Jia might hate herself and her mother.
"What?"
Madam Yun then realized that what she had just said might be too cruel. "Forget it. Even if she actually had you with Yun, she will still love you because you are her daughter."
Wan Jia felt even more curious. "Then auntie Yun, do you know why she switched me? And if you knew my identity all along, why was it that you never told me?"
Madam Yun caressed Wan Jia's cheek lovingly. "I don't believe she switched you. You're her own flesh and blood...You must have been switched by accident or by someone else.
I didn't tell you at first because I was not too sure. I only had suspicions since you look so much like her, and you are just as old as her child should be. When I found out that you are a designer too, I became more inclined towards the belief that you are related to her... but I kept dismissing it because I didn't know about your family background."

"She's a designer too?"
Madam Yun smiled. "Not only that, your styles are also closely alike."
Wan Jia had so many questions that she did not know what to ask about first. "Then when you were sure about it,..." why did you not tell me?
Madam Yun understood the unsaid words. "I have always been at most 80% sure. There is no way I would know for sure unless I met her again and asked her. It's just that every time I see you, you remind me of her...so much that it will never make sense if you are not her daughter."
Wan Jia felt touched by Madam Yun's emotional words. Was this why Madam Yun was so fond of her? If she did not know, she would have thought that she was her mother!
"The two of you....were friends?...What did you mean when you said that the two of you were in good terms until I happened? Did you fall apart because of me?" she asked her million dollar question. She also wanted to ask, what was the relationship between her mother and General Yun? If her mother was the third party in Madam Yun's marriage, how come she did not hate her and her mother?
Her question made Madam Yun snap back. "Little Wan, you have been here for too long. You should go now. Wait, I'll give you something."
She rushed to the master bedroom and when she came back, she had something in a plastic bag. "What's this?" Wan Jia asked.
"Didn't you want to steal his DNA samples? This is his toothbrush. I'll replace it. Now, get away from here fast. If my sons notice you are not Xuanxuan, they may not be very polite with you."

"Auntie Yun, thank you." she hugged her.
"Consider it me returning your mother a tiny favour."
Wan Jia smiled and left Yun Xuan's room. She did not know just how nervous Lu Shaoting was when she did not say anything all that while. Since he could not ask her anything for fear of distracting her, he could only suck it up and wait patiently. At least with Madam Yun present, the worst that could happen was her being discovered. If it were General Yun, that would be a different case.
[I'm leaving the house in less than one minute. Where are you?] she finally sent Lu Shaoting a message.
Lu Shaoting sighed into her ears. "Sister-in-law, you scared me. Just come out, I will give you further instructions."
Just as she was nearing the gate, Lu Shaoting's trembling voice filled her ears.
"Sister-in-law, we are dead. Both of us are dead. Three hundred and sixty-five days from today, it will be our death anniverssary."
Wan Jia felt her legs go weak and took out her phone. [Why are we dead? Is Yun Jifeng back?]
Lu Shaoting responded very weakly as if all the life had been sucked out of him. "I wish it was just Yun Jifeng but no. It's a much worse monster. I'm not even married yet. Here I am, going to die of an unjust cause. Wuuu..."
Wan Jia made a phone call instead. "Lu Shaoting, stop being such a drama queen, okay? You are scaring the soul out of me. Who is it, General Yun?"
"General Yun would be better but no." He looked through his rearview mirror at the familiar white limited edition sports car that was furiously approaching from the distance at a terrifying speed. "It's...my brother."
