When the two women entered the building, they were in high spirits.

That afternoon, it was easily noticeable that Lili was not in a very good mood. In fact, she looked troubled when she saw that Su Ling was no longer nervous around Wan Jia.

Su Ling still counterattacked. "Our Boss is very busy and does not need you to chirp in her ear like a lost bird."

Wan Jia laughed. Still as sharp-tongued as ever. To stop their banters, she placated both of them. "If my assistants work hard, I will customly make them perfect outfits for their birthdays and very special occassions."

Su Ling was excited. "Then I'll work even harder from now. My birthday is in two months. Aah! I don't want to miss Boss' special outfit."

Lili chimed in. "Mine already passed. I'll work hard and aim for it next year."

Su Ling, who was waiting for such a remark, immediately shut her off. "You wish! Our boss does not need assisstants who steal from her. Even if she made it for someone, it would not be you."

Lili started crying like her tears were waiting for that comment. "You! How can you say such things? Boss, don't listen to her."

"Enough chatting. Get back to work. Ling, give this to the CEO."

Su Ling stopped in her steps. "Of course you don't. If boss doesn't fire you today, President Lu will."

Wan Jia laughed. But why did she not find it strange at all that Su Ling was picking on Lili? She felt like she had long expected it. Well, if she were in her shoes, she would probably have exploded long ago.

A middle aged woman sat in her office reading a patient's file when her secretary came in. "Doctor Qiao, there's a man surnamed Lu here to see you."

In the next minute, the doctor called Qiao was so shocked that she almost had a heart attack. Don't tell her the man surnamed Lu was Lu Aotian?

She kept calm and greeted him. "Mr. Lu, what brings you to our humble hospital?"
