While Lu Shaoting was lost in thought, he recieved a private message.

Handsome Lu[ Take your brain with you wherever you go.]

Nagging, nagging him again! It seemed it would take a very long time before his brother accepted Su Ling. He found it comical how he was thinking about Lu Aotian accepting her already when he hadn't even confessed.

In fact, even he himself was only making a guess. He was not even completely sure of his feelings yet. All he knew was that it felt similar to what he felt for the girl he liked when he was younger.

"You're not eating." Su Ling's unhappy voice jolted him back to reality. How dare a man space out on a date? It was annoying even if they were not in a relationship.

"Oh...I'm sorry. I was talking to my friend just now." he said and stared cutting a piece of steak.

To strike a conversation when they were done eating, Lu Shaoting asked her about her family.

The girl seemed unhappy with his question but still answered very briefly. "I have a younger brother; he's still in middle school. My relationship with my parents is not particularly good."

Lu Shaoting nodded, and although it was obvious that Su Ling already knew about his family, he still briefly talked about it.

After having a few drinks together, Lu Shaoting finally dropped her off at her apartment.

"Don't you want to come in for a cup of coffee?" she asked out of courtesy.

Little did she know, Lu Shaoting was not one to be too courteous with things he wanted. "I'd love to."

Su Ling felt awkward but led him in. Her apartment was small but very neat with a bright lady-like theme. If Lu Shaoting had seen it before she fell out with Mo Zilian, he would be completely shocked at the huge difference.

Su Ling served him coffee and they chatted for a while. Since they both had to go to work the next day, Lu Shaoting did not overstay his welcome.

At least he was now sure of one thing; he wanted to spend as much time with her as possible.

The next day, the CEO of Elite Fashion World generously gave Wan Jia the afternoon off after seeing how hard she was working. A filming company had contacted him and requested for Elite Fashion World to design the actresses' attires. Their order was very specific- the job had to be done by either DY or Wan Jia. He had chosen Wan Jia because of the current circumstances. Much to his shock, the girl had signed the contract and completed all the required drafts within just a few hours. This was pair of magic hands...

Wan Jia happily accepted the time off and called Lin Lihua.

"What a coincidence! I've just finished shooting my current movie and have two weeks off. Come over to my apartment." Lin Lihua said when the girl cheerfully announced her time off and asked her out.

When she hung up, Lin Lihua glanced indifferently at the shocked crew and left the filming site immediately after completing the current scene. Everyone was speechless. Who leaves in the middle of filming?

Fine, she was Lin Lihua. It was already considered lucky enough that she shot the already prepared scene before leaving. Sigh, it was very hard dealing with her nowadays. Luckily, she had the looks and talent to make up for that.

Wan Jia rushed to Southside Villa to change into something more comfortable as well as give Lin Lihua time to reach home from the filming site.

Just as she was on her way out, Little Jia who was playing in the garden noticed her from the corner of her eye. "Mommy!" she ran over immediately.

Wan Jia picked up her daughter and brushed back the long stray strands of her hair using her hands.

"Mommy is back early today? Let's go and play in the garden, I can show you my secret hiding place" she smiled brightly.

Wan Jia felt very conflicted. She had just made plans with Lin Lihua, but how could she bear to say no to her baby? Especially when she was smiling so happily...

When her mother remained silent for a long time, Little Jia became sad. Did Mommy not want to play with her? But she had painstakingly decorated a spot in the garden for mommy and daddy to see!

Wan Jia sensed her baby's cheerfulness disappear and pinched her adorable cheeks. "Baby, Mommy will play with you, but just for a little while, okay?"

Little Jia brightened up and wrapped her little hands around her mother's neck, kissing her cheek. "Mommy is the best! Little Jia loves Mommy the most!"

Just then, Lin Lihua called.

"Sis Lihua, I'm so sorry, I have to play with Little Jia." she said apologetically.

"Why don't you bring her along? I miss her too." Lin Lihua suggested.

Well, Little Jia would be glad because she liked Lin Lihua...."I'll ask Aotian." she said.

"Mmh.

The call was connected as soon as she dialled.

She explained the situation and he allowed them to go, he would let bodyguards follow them.

However, after hanging up the call, he stared blankly into space. It had not escaped his eye that Lin Lihua was exaggeratively using every single opportunity to better her relationship with Wan Jia. It was definitely not coincidental that she was always free when Wan Jia had days off.

He smirked his lips and muttered, "Interesting..."
