When he left, Yun Xuan rested back in her chair and rubbed her temples. Why was she still feeling stressed?

She opened a drawer to take out a file when she caught sight of a photo. It was a bit old, taken many months ago. It was a photo of a very beautiful moment shared between her and Wan Jia. They had dressed up in adorable animal pajamas and were sitting near the fireplace in winter.

She caressed the photo as she muttered, "I wish we were still friends." Her train of thought began drifting. Should she apologize? She had been very rash and rude after all.

Her phone rang.

"Congratulations Boss Yun. I saw you won the award." It was Tyler on the phone, calling from country G. "Sorry, I was busy before and can only call you now."

Yun Xuan was not in the slightest excited when she was congratulated and only grunted in response.

"What was that? Does my darling Xuan miss me so much that she is angry?"

"You could say so."

"Don't miss me too much. I'll be home in three days." he said.

Yun Xuan cheered up and blew him a kiss.

In Lu Enterprise, Lu Aotian was busy checking the files of the CEOs of Lu Enterprises' subsidiaries. These past few days, he had been busy checking their records, giving pay rise to those who worked hard enough as well as bonuses and promotions.

On a side note, apart from the CEOs, he had also been sneakily changing the employees beside his younger brother.

In just a few days, Lu Shaoting's secretary and assistants were all women. To be exact, they were all very beautiful women. It would still be normal if they were just pretty, he would assume Lu Enterprises' employees this year were coincidentally beautiful. "Don't try to act smart with me!" Lu Shaoting complained. "Why did all the employees directly under me turn into beautiful women?"

Lu Aotian gave him a side eye. "You don't want beautiful assistants?" Who in the world rejected beauties? Even he himself had fallen for a beautiful girl, alright?

"No!...I mean, it's not that I don't want them, but why do they have to be...like that?" He knew his brother's ruthlessness better than anyone. If he declared that he did not want them, he would have to do everything himself.

"Why don't you admire them then?" Lu Aotian mocked.

"Did father put you up to this?" he asked unhappily. For his brother to suddenly do such things, it had to be because their father asked him to do so.

Lu Aotian glanced at him as if scolding him for throwing a tantrum like a child. "Shaoting, you want a wife, yet you do not want women close to you. Could you make up your mind? Wives don't appear out of thin air."

Lu Shaoting scolded inwardly: but sister-in-law appeared out of thin air.

"So you are trying to make me fall in love with one of those assistants?" he sobbed like he had been treated unfairly.

Lu Aotian ignored him and continued working.

On the other hand, in Elite Fashion World, Wan Jia and Dai Youran were working together to produce more of their outfits.

After recieving the president's warning, Dai Youran had apologized and promised never to try and sabotage Wan Jia. Everyone who knew her knew that she would never break any of her promises.

After hearing this from other employees, Wan Jia had decided to give her a second chance. but remain guarded. What she did not know, however, was that DY Brand had been frozen for a year.

After working together for a few days, Dai Youran had even told her the reason why she kidnapped her.

Apparently, Dai Youran had felt so threatened by her presence that she could not even come up with anything impressive. Hence as a last resolve, she decided to make Wan Jia late.

Wan Jia felt that it made sense. So that was why Dai Youran's designs on the runway were not as impressive as usual.

As for her, although the CEO had told her to draft more pieces in the same series, the company had not accepted any order yet. The plan was to let the values rise before they could mass produce and put them up for sale.

Unexpectedly, she was very busy. If Dai Youran was not helping her here and there, she would surely pass out.
