Silence followed. No single person had expected this outcome. YX Brand...Ran Ran?

What happened to Elite Fashion World? Everyone was expecting Wan Jia to win.

The judge on stage felt uneasy when no one cheered and looked at the host. The host took the opportunity and called Ran Ran to stage.

Fans of YX clapped. Although there were fans, YX had detoriorated greatly and their stocks were even rumoured to be dropping.

It would be fine if they made a great comeback with stunning outfits, but this was obviously not good enough to win.

The livestream site began filling with comments and discussion.

[YX Brand? What's happening?]

[That's absurd!]

[Yeah, EFW is obviously better. Even if Wan Jia doesn't win, DY was very good too.]

[Is it not obvious? That judge has been indirectly talking ill of Wan Jia since she went on stage. Did someone do something fishy behind the scenes?] a die hard fan commented.

[This is the Golden Hand Awards. Something like that can not happen just like that. Just accept the fact that your best studio's designs were not that good this time.]

[How were my goddess' designs not good? Are you blind? Take a look at all those dresses. Which one of them is not miles better than that YX?]

Despite the dissatisfaction, Ran Ran was still given the award. The explanation was that although EFW made a very outstanding appearance, it was all a beautiful outward appearance and a hollow inside.

No one was convinced. YX's could be considered not too much lower than DY, but Wan Jia's designs were definitely better that both of them.

If Wan Jia could not win, then DY or Climax Studio should be the winner instead. Why would it be someone significantly lower? Did they think the audience was blind?

Wan Jia felt disappointed that she did not win but she did not cause a ruckus. Dai Youran really wanted to cause commotion and make the mass fight for the award but she had a gut feeling that she should lay low. Well, her solace was that Wan Jia had not won either.

When the ceremony was over, their CEO simply consoled Wan Jia and Dai Youran and encouraged them to try harder the next time.

This time, it was Ran Ran who was sorrounded by reporters so Wan Jia made her way out easily.

Lu Aotian hugged her tightly. "I could have prevented this, but an award that can possibly be rigged behind the scenes is not worthy to be won by you."

He knew Yun Xuan had done something since she had admitted it herself. However, he did not want to fight for it. Since Yun Xuan valued it more than her life, she could have it.

He was going to let his wife prove that even without winning that title, she could still defeat her thoroughly.

Lin Lihua also hugged her for a while and went to look for her parents to go home. She knew they had attended. Yun Xuan on the other hand, was utterly shocked. She had expected Lu Aotian to sabotage her since he knew she had manipulated the judges. When she saw from afar how sad Wan Jia looked, she felt immense guilt seep into her heart.

Lu Aotian called the chauffer over and sat with Wan Jia in the backseat. To be exact, he sat her on his lap and wrapped his arms around her comfortingly.

Later, someone made a comment on the Golden Hand Awards website.

HL:[The award is just a title. If you like EFW's new release, shouldn't you be focusing your energy on how you will get them?]

The comment gained hundreds of likes within just a few minutes.

Within a few hours, Wan Jia's social media as well as Elite Fashion World's official page were filled with requests to order.

The next day, the company's phones were exploding with phone calls.

Someone had shared Wan Jia's contact details.

Emails were also flooding in like tsunami. Wan Jia woke up in a daze and switched on her laptop to read the latest news. However, the number of emails she had recieved almost made the poor laptop crash.

No one had warned her beforehand that she should mass produce all the pieces! What was she supposed to do about all these orders? The company was also killing her with emails! She had lost her phone and they could not reach her, so they were furiously spamming her social media and email.

Lu Aotian knocked the door to her room and walked in with a little box. "You're awake. I got you a new phone."

It was even the latest model! She jumped at him and hugged him.

"You look worked up." he noticed her distress right away.

She silently showed him her laptop screen.

He smiled. "My wife is awesome. Let everyone wait for now. The company will help you handle this. For now, you should change your email address, it's too public."

Wan Jia probably did not hear what he was saying. She was busy playing with his hair like a kitten and trying to kiss him.
