The two women did not linger too much on gossip and went on with their work.

In the design department, Lu Shaoting showed Wan Jia to her office. Lu Aotian had told him to take good care of her in EFW. In fact, he would leave most matters for his brother and his brother's assistant to handle. He, on the other hand, would focus most of his attention on EFW and make sure Wan Jia is comfortable.

He led Wan Jia into an office at the end of the corridor. "This is your office. If you wish to redecorate it, just let me know. You will meet your colleagues with time and I will organize a welcome banquet for you after the Golden Hand Awards. Your contract will be sent over by my brother. You will hire your own assistant if you need one. If you encounter any problems, please call 110."

Wan Jia slapped her forehead. She had been very touched when he gave her such caring instructions but what the hell was that last part? Call 110? Tsk, I'll call the office of the president of Lu Enterprise.

When he was gone, she looked around. The office was neither too big nor too small- just the perfect size she would love, with a dull color theme and large window.

She stood by the window and looked out. The view of the city was quite beautiful from this spot. No need to ask. Her sweetheart must have ordered for such an arrangement.

Looking at this view, her mind would surely overflow with beautiful inspirations.

However, the office needed a thorough make over. What sort of theme was this?

It made the office look cold even as rays of sunlight seeped in warmly.

Wan Jia spent most of her day deciding how to decorate her new office. Before she realized it, it was already evening.

She had promised to go out for dinner with Lu Aotian and Little Jia so she packed up and left the office.

Just as she was leaving, she met someone in the elevator. It was someone she would recignize from anywhere. Her idol, Dai Youran!

Who in the country did not know who Dai Youran was? If you asked any random person from the streets, they would tell you.

She was the best designer Elite Fashion World had to offer. All other outfits produced by Elite Fashion World would have an EFW logo on them except the ones she designed- those would have a DY on them.

That went to show just how special her status was in the company.

"Miss Dai." Wan Jia smiled like a fangirl and greeted her.

Dai Youran who was very tired from working all day looked at the cheerful girl. "Who do we have here? Designer Wan?"

"You know me?" she was quite surprised.

"Of course I know you. You were brilliant months ago in the Rookie Designer Awards then disappeared, but I would never forget a unique talent."

Wan Jia felt flattered. "It's such an honor that Miss Dai remembers me. I didn't know you watched such events."

Dai Youran seemed to be in the mood to continue the conversation. "Not usually. My friend was participating."

"Oh..." she kept quiet for a while then made the comment she had been holding in. "Miss Dai, I've always admired you...always hoped that one day I'll be like you."

Dai Youran smiled while looking aside before she said, "You started at such a high note, it will not be too long before you surpass me."

"Thanks for the compliment, Dai Youran, but you're too kind. You already are amazing while still so young. I wouldn't ever dream of surpassing you." She was speaking to a senior in the industry. It would be much better to be humble than to cause herself trouble by agreeing that she would surpass her in no time. That would make her look like she was trying to compete against Dai Youran.

She did not answer that, but instead said, "We're in the same company. Just call me Dai Youran."

The elevator had already reached the floor she wanted to go so she left. Wan Jia was left behind wondering, 'I thought it was an internal decision for me to come to EFW and the news will be announced after the Golden Hand Awards ceremony. Dai Youran already knows?'

Since both Wan Jia and Little Jia loved seafood, they chose to go to Seaside Restaurant.

Lu Aotian who did not really like it as much as them only ate a little and kept picking food for them.

"Mmh the grilled octopus is awesome!" Wan Jia kept munching on the octopus pieces with her head down and rarely looked at him. Little Jia who was beside her was busy chewing like a squirrel. If he did not look in her direction from time to time, he would really forget about her presence.

What was so delicious about it? He did not have a particular preference himself, so he only watched them eat and later drove his two princesses home with their full stomachs.

"I met Dai Youran today." she bragged when Little Jia was asleep and they were alone in Wan Jia's room.

"Who is Dai Youran?" he asked.

Wan Jia's eyes shot open. "You don't know her?"

"Why would I?"

She did not even know what to say to him. "She's one of the best designers in the capital and she's from Elite Fashion World. How can you not know your most outstanding employees, President Lu?"

Lu Aotian looked like he really didn't know.
