Compared to the warm atmosphere in Southside Villas, elsewhere trouble was seriously brewing.

Apart from the attentive Lin Lihua, the other one person whose attention would always be on Tyler was undoubtedly his fiancée.

Yun Xuan had narrowed her eyes when she noticed his gaze on Wan Jia but since they had guests over, she did not want to cause a ruckus.

Even now that they were alone, she still showed no intention of confronting him. Instead, she kept to herself and did not talk to him.

"Darling, are you okay? You're too silent." he asked.

"I'm okay. Just tired." she said and climbed onto the bed, covering herself and closing her eyes.

It could be said that this couple was not very good in opening up.

At least a certain couple that they liked comparing themselves to would always seek answers if they had any doubts about each other. Yun Xuan, on the other hand, was different. If Tyler could not figure out why she was upset they he would only have to deal with her silent treatment.

He was used to it by now, he knew that something was definitely wrong.

"Darling, did something happen?" he probed further.

"Did Ruolin do something to upset you?" he knew Ruolin was so far her only nemesis. If something went wrong, it had to have been caused by that queen of troublemaking.

Yun Xuan was getting irritated by his incessant questions. She blurted out, "Tonight was your engagement dinner."

"Our engagement dinner." he corrected. "What about it?"

She uncovered herself and looked at him, her blue eyes burning like a furnace. "Since you know very well that it was our engagement dinner, as the groom to be, why were you staring at another girl?"

"Staring at what girl?" then it struck him. "You...you mean your friend Wanwan?"

Yun Xuan rolled her eyes in distaste. He still had the nerve to ask!

Tyler finally realized what she may have thought. "Darling, please don't misunderstand. I was just curious how two unrelated people could look so much alike. Is it even real?"

"Are you dumb? I said I had a cosmetic surgery."

"I know....it's just, how skilled was the surgeon? You look like you can actually switch lives without anyone noticing."

Yun Xuan did not want to talk about it any longer, she dismissed him and faced away from him.

Tyler climbed onto the bed and held her waist. "Darling, do you still not trust me? I love you so much that even if another woman were to undress before me, I wouldn't notice her."

The girl ignored him all night and even in the morning.

At southside Villas, a beautiful dedicated fiancée woke up early to prepare a loving breakfast for her man. He had said that he would be busy today, a nourishing breakfast would be a perfect way to start the day. She also specifically made him a bento.

Knowing her man too well, he would probably work so hard that he would forget to eat. Keeping this in mind, she sent Lu Shaoting a text, tasking him with making sure that Lu Aotian ate lunch on time.

Lu Shaoting on the other hand almost exploded in rage. He was just eating his breakfast quietly and minding his own business. Why did he have to be shoved with this early morning display of affection? His sister-in-law was too ruthless!

Lu Aotian took a shower and was about to sneak out of the house when he met the stern eyes of Wan Jia. He froze on the staircase.

"Going so fast? You haven't had breakfast."

He patted his chest in horror. "My love, I didn't know you're awake. You didn't have to do this you know," he said as he looked at the table of dishes set for him. His words were different from his actions. He had decided not to have breakfast to avoid her, but his legs quickly led him to the table and he sat down to eat.

Who would resist such dishes made with so much love? He knew he was digging his own grave but he let her serve him and stood up when he had his fill.

"Wait, take this with you." she gave him the bento. He took it and just as he was about to dash out, her voice froze all his vitals. "Why are you being so sneaky? Oh, I should be asking, what did you do last night?"

Really? As expected, she still remembered that. Still, he thought he could get out of it. "What did I do last night? I accompanied my wife to her friend's dinner, brought her back home, took a shower and was chased off to sleep on my own."

Wan Jia gave him a 'you-cannot-trick-me' look.

"You knew Yun Jifeng was looking for me, right? So you went ahead for a game with Tyler but in real sense you were just trying to eavesdrop on our conversation?"

Bingo! She got it right. Except, he did not try to eavesdrop, he copied it from the security camera.

"My love, I was just scared he would seduce you, or even lie to you." He was being honest...except he was more concerned about the second part.

"Haha, oh Aotian, Jifeng is Xuan's brother. Why would he lie to me? And what makes you think I can be seduced by just anyone? Don't you trust your own charm?"

He did not dwell on the second part of her statement; he knew that. But what...?! She already trusted Yun Jifeng that much? He really had to act fast.
