Lu Tongyan pulled Lu Shaoting back to the dining table to continue nagging him. "Even though Lu Enterprise already has a successor, you should seriously consider finding a girl. Do you want to spend the rest of your life alone?"

"I know father, I'll find a girl. Can your dear son go now? Please look at me, I've been nagged for half a day." Lu Shaoting complained before he fled.

"You rascal..." his father scolded. Although he was scolding him, his tone was filled with love.

"Aotian, you should help your younger brother."

"Mmh."

"I'll send over some information about the girls I know. Help check their backgrounds."

"Mmh."

Lu Tongyan shot a look at his older son. What was wrong with these two idiots? Why were they both acting like he was their enemy? He was only concerned about their happiness. Couldn't they see?

As for why he wanted to check the backgrounds of all the girls he knew, it would be great if the girl Shaoting married was one with a simple background. It would be very troublesome if she came from some complicated background like Wan Jia.

Lu Aotian shot him a look and interrupted. "She doesn't need to." He meant that she did not need to look for thel herself, he would do it for her.

Lu Tongyan turned to his son. "Then, have you made any progress?"

"A lot of it." Lu Aotian answered.

Meanwhile, at Tyler's apartment.

"I'm going home." Yun Xuan said.

Tyler had no objections. That was her home. She had to go even if she did not want to. After being in an emotional turmoil for a while, she had finally settled down. It was hard on her but at least, at last the two of them were free to get married. "You're going right now?" he asked.

"Yes," she replied.

Tyler held her hand. "Can you delay that a little?"

"Why?"

"I want to spend a little more time with you...and, aren't we both free now? We should get married."

Yun Xuan agreed with him. The only thing that was preventing them from getting married was her 'married' status. Now that she was divorced, she was free to announce her engagement and get married . "You don't have any missions coming up soon, right?"

"I don't. I'll be staying much longer this time." She was pleased. "Then we should have an engagement party." she suggested.

Tyler ran his hand through his hair. "Darling, did you forget? We are getting married in secret." he said.

"Uh, yes. I forgot."

He took in her upset look. "Darling, one day we will be able to do all that- have a wedding, throw parties, tell the whole world that we are together...we will not hide forever."

"You don't have to say that just to make me feel better." she sighed.

"It's not only to make you feel better. We really will. Just not very soon." he said.

She looked him in the eye. "Then I'll wait for that day."

Tyler held the back of her neck and kissed her. This girl always drove him insane. Those seductive eyes of hers were always able to make his mind run wild in seconds. He wrapped his other hand around her back and deepened the kiss, taking away all the air from her lungs. The kiss lasted longer than usual before it finally stopped with both of them out of breath.

Actually, Tyler wanted to take it further but was stopped by her. "No,no. Didn't you have enough last night?"

"I'll never have enough of you." he said in a coarse voice.

Yun Xuan glared at him. This man's needs were getting off the charts.

She changed the direction of the conversation to avoid talking about that. "Although we cannot throw a party, we should be able to invite our friends over for a meal, shouldn't we?"

Tyler took a while to come back to his senses. "Yeah,"

"Why do you sound half hearted?" Yun Xuan had learnt to detect his emotions and already knew he did not seem very okay with that idea either.

Tyler sighed. "You know the situation with my friends, I cannot invite them."

"Oh that..." she had almost forgotten. How could she forget that Tyler's friends thought he was already married? "Then I'll call my friends over. Don't worry, just the close ones and my second brother."

She would have loved to invite her mother too but Madam Yun was quite busy. As for General Yun, Yun Xuan had decided to slowly start keeping a distance from him.

"Then I'll make arrangements and find the perfect restaurant." Tyler said. "Tell me how many friends you want to invite."

"I have a different plan in mind. Can we hold it here? The place is spacious enough, I'm not calling many people anyway, and I'll cook for them."
