In Southside Villas the next day, Yun Xuan was bawling her eyes out in Wan Jia's arms.

"Wanwan, are you really sure?"

The girl was finding it really hard to believe it when the 'virtous and honest' image of her father came crambling down in a flash. Wan Jia understood that feeling the most. After all, their situation was a little similar. Having a loving father since your childhood then suddenly finding out he wasn't who you thought he was, it was the worst feeling.

Although hers was a different case of being abandoned while Yun Xuan's was that of feeling decieved, the feeling was more or less similar.

She didn't even know how to coax her. "I'm so sorry, but I know Aotian wouldn't unreasonably kill people." Saving someone's life then killing them, how was it logical?

"I feel so horrible. I respected him ever since ha became my father. I feel cheated." she cried.

Wan Jia rubbed her back lightly. Although what she was going to say was quite hurtful, it was about time Yun Xuan started learning the truth. Otherwise, wouldn't she feel even worse if they all lied to her and that man did something to her in the long run?"Xuan, he never lied to you. He never told you he was a good person who didn't have a single bloodstain in his hands. It was all in your head."

Yun Xuan stopped sobbing. Wanwan was right. He truly never mentioned being good and all that, she just had that impression on her own. However, it still hurt. Is there anyone who announces themselves as a bad person to others? I wouldn't either.

The sobbing girl slowly calmed down and her speech became coherent. "Wanwan, help me find an apartment."

"Eh? Why do you want to find an apartment?"

"I want to move out. How can I stay under the same roof with a vicious person?"

Wan Jia couldn't help but sigh. Vicious people? If you call him vicious for only one crime, what will you call him when you learn about all he has done?

Still, she stopped her. "You cannot move out."

"Why?" That would be torture.

"Think about it, he commits a crime then a few days later you want to move out, wouldn't he suspect your motives? Do you want to die?"

"But it's dangerous to live with him! He's already back at home. How will I even breath in that house?" Let alone breathe. Will she even be allowed to exist?

Wan Jia didn't know how exactly to say it withiut really saying it. "You should put on an act."

"What act?"

"Xuan, you don't know any single thing about what happened. Not even a punctuation mark in between the sentences. Feign complete ignorance and you will be safe for now. He will not feel threatened if you know nothing. You can get married soon and move out as a married woman."

"But he already knows Tyler handled the matter." she tilted her head.

Wan Jia helplessly held her head as if Yun Xuan was an idiot. "So what? Are you a worm in Tyler's stomach?" Yun Xuan shook her head. "Then you should pretend Tyler did everything on his own without telling you even a single breath of the whole matter."

Yun Xuan looked at her friend curiously. Where did she get such an idea? Will it even work?

Wan Jia picked a pillow from her side and smashed Yun Xuan's body with it. "Don't give me that look. It will really work. How do you think I...." Shoot! She almost said out loud 'How do you think I survived as your substitute?'

That sentence would mercilessly give her away. Luckily she had retracted it on time.

"How do I think you what Wanwan?"

So she was attentive.

She had to fabricate something fast. "Nothing important. It's just an incident that happened when I was in high school. I only survived because I feigned stupidity."

"Oh..."

That...that actually worked? What a close shave.

To shift her attention further, she changed the topic. "Since you just happen to be officially divorced, when are you and Tyler getting married?"

Her attention was successfuly diverted. "I don't know, it should be soon."

"Will you hold a wedding? I want to be the maid of honor! I'll fight anyone who tries to compete me for that position." Wan Jia declared childishly.

Yun Xuan looked a little forlorn. "You would be, but with Tyler's identity, we cannot hold a wedding. We can only get married in secret."

Wan Jia was upset that she would not get to be a best maid in this lifetime. Then something else piqued her interest. "Sweetheart, I'm not deliberately being pessimistic but are the two of you really...in a relationship?" She held up her long fair fingers to start counting. "You don't know your man's name, you don't know any of his friends, you can't even publicize your relationship and can only sneakily get married in secret...hey! Are you even his woman?"

Yun Xuan had never been concerned about any of that. "Forget it Wanwan, what matters is that we love each other and he's true to me. Who cares about his true identity?"

Wan Jia was not in the least settled. "I'm saying...what if he uses a different identity and has another woman?"

Yun Xuan felt her friend was being too paranoid. "Don't be ridiculous. Tyler wouldn't have other women considering how much he loves me." People could cheat on their girlfriends, but Tyler had proven himself trustworthy. Why would she doubt him?
