While Wan Jia was busy having a peaceful chat with her fiancé and father-in-law, someone had entered the manager's office as soon as she left.

"Manager Zhao." the man greeted with a smile. Although he was smiling and appearing polite, Manager Zhao was not stupid enough to not realize that this man was up to no good. "Vice President Guo, what brings you here?" he tried hard to maintain his calm.

"I see Manager Zhao is not happy to see me?" he laughed.

To other people, he would look handsome and charming but to people like Manager Zhao who knew just what kind of person he really was, he looked like a devil straight from hell.

Still, he pretended to be alright. "Of course...of course I'm happy to see you again."

"I see. Since we both missed each other so much, I will not waste any more of your time. I see Manager Zhao managed to recruit someone very interesting."

Manager Zhao broke into cold sweat. "Vice President Guo, I don't know who you're talking about?"

"Tsk..." The evil cold man sneered. "Do you take me for a fool? You knew very well that Climax Studio wanted to employ Designer Wan, yet you went ahead and took her from us. Aren't you scared of us anymore?"

Manager Zhao was at a loss. Sure enough, this man was still as sinister as ever. They had some past grudges but it was Guo Haisheng who had betrayed him; yet now he was acting like he was the one who had been wronged.

"What are you implying?" he asked as he held his trembling hands together tightly.

The man on the sofa deliberately made a long torturous pause before looking at the bodyguard standing at the door, who knew to pass over a briefcase full of cold cash and open it in front of Manager Zhao.

"What do you mean by this, Vice President Guo? I'm not willing to give up on a rare talent for lousy money!" he refuted.

"Then please wait for my lawyer's notice." Guo Haisheng sneered.

"You're being despicable! Both you and I know that what happened back then..." the man clenched his fists to prevent himself from flying into rage and killing this bastard before him.

Faced with such blackmail, he could only agree to let go of Wan Jia. Sure enough, these morons from the Guo family were not going to let him ever have a moment of peace.

He had just recruited a very influential chess piece. Despite only having participated in one show, Wan Jia had exploded in fame and any company would have extremely good luck if they were chosen by her.

He had been prepared to guide her like a younger sister and make sure she follows the right path and improves her skills. If it wasn't for this devil...

Lu Aotian had brought his fiancée over to play a little since she had the day off. It wasn't her first time visiting the Lu Enterprise building but she was still awed looking around.

The inside of the building was filled with cold metallic colors, but they did not look odd at all. Instead, they looked consistent with the owner's style and the high technological advancements made it look like a futuristic building.

"Why did you not chose Elite Fashion World?" A certain whiny jealous husband complained as soon as they were in the office.

"Who wants to be your subordinate?" she humphed. She was not stupid. Having a boss like Lu Aotian was not going to be an easy task for her. If this man did not intentionally make her work extra hard, he was going to pay more attention to Elite Fashion World and pamper her in the company. She was not ready to recieve glares of hatred from her workmates.

"My love, it's only in your husband's company that you would be treated fairly. What if you are bullied in my absence?" he sounded worried.

"Do you think anyone can bully me?"

Lu Aotian: "..."

She was right. Who could bully her? She was the type of person who would take a hundred miles from you if you took an inch from her.

Still, he was worried. "What if some other handsome men snatch you away from me?"

Wan Jia was speechless. Why did he sound like a jealous wife afraid of her husband getting seduced?

She pushed him to the sofa, sat her backside on his lap and kissed his lips. Is there anyone more handsome than you, huh?"

Lu Aotian: "...."

You have a point, but that's not the point, can't you tell?

"Even if I'm the most handsome man in the world, that won't stop other men from looking at you. What if they act overly nice to you and make you fall in love with them?" The pool of vinegar insisted.

Wan Jia nibbled his ear playfully. "Baby, be good. It doesn't matter how good looking, nice and whatnot all those other men are, they matter no more than a fart to me, okay? In this life, I'll only ever love you. Do you still doubt this point?"

Placated now, the overly jealous husband held her chin and kissed her deeply. "Remember what you just said. If anyone takes you away from me, I'll destroy his entire clan." he said in a hoarse voice.

"I won't let you dirty your hands." she replied. The implication was that no one would be able to seduce her, so he wouldn't have to destroy anyone. Oh, his wife was too cute!
