A few days later, at the Yun family mansion.

"Dad, this is Tyler. My fiancé." Yun Xuan introduced him when they walked in. She did not expect the whole family to be present including all the brothers, her mother and her paternal grandmother. It wasn't an engagement party, okay?

General Yun scanned the man beside his daughter curiously. "Did you say his name is Tyler? What's his full name? Where does he come from?"

Yun Xuan freaked out. "Slow down dad, you see...for the sake of his career he can't reveal his real identity, but he'll take me to meet his family in a few days."

The eldest brother walked up to him. " We just want to make sure our sister ends up with a trustworthy man."

Tyler temporarily ignored them and greeted her father. "General Yun, it's nice to meet you. What Yun Xuan just said is true. It would be dangerous for me if my identity was revealed. However, I love Yun Xuan very much and I would trade my life for her safety."

"Do you work for a secret intelligence unit?" Madam Yun asked.

"Yes."

Silence lingered for a while before General Yun said to his daughter. "I don't know where you got such a man but there's no way I'm letting my daughter marry someone we don't know."

Yun Xuan's jaw went slack. "Dad, we love each other. Who cares about his identity?Besides, he's really going to show me his family. I met his sister by the way. Why don't you trust my judgement?"

"The last time I trusted your judgement you were almost burnt to death!" he bellowed and left the room angrily. "No one is marrying some secret...whatever he is."

"But the man who saved me from that fire is Tyler!" she shouted at his retreating back.

As expected, General Yun stopped in his tracks, thought about it then frowned again. "Who's to say it wasn't a plan that both of them came up with?" he scoffed.

Yun Xuan narrowed his eyes. A plan that he and Qin Zhifan came up with? What happened to General Yun's legendary high Intelligence quotient? What kind of crazy thoughts were those?

Yun Xuan looked to her mother. "Mum,...."
