Yun Xuan's eyes flew wide open. Wife? She had come to pick him at the airport and he came with his wife? She couldn't believe she was even considering being with him.

During their video chats in the past month, Tyler had told her many things about himself. From his family to his school life, the challenges he faced during his training, the difficulties he faces every day. Although he didn't mention any names or directly reveal places, Yun Xuan felt like she understood her better and thought he qualified to be her boyfriend. Who would have thought that not only was he already married, he even brought his wife along. Was he going to ask to stay away from him as he is a married man et cetera? She blinked her eyes and sighed. She felt like a complete idiot.

"Ruolin!" Tyler berated and glared at her. Then he looked at Yun Xuan awkwardly. "Ruolin is my godsister. The agency made us pretend to be a married couple in public. It's a form of disguise.

Ruolin, this is Yun Xuan. The girl I want to marry." he introduced naturally.

Ruolin covered her mouth awkwardly. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't know you're my sister in law and said such a thing. You won't hold it against me, will you?"

Tyler glared at her. "What do you mean you didn't know? I mentioned her to you practically every minute and even showed you her photos. I even told you she's coming to pick me up. Is your brain fried?"

"Will you stop it? You're too naggy. I'm speaking to my sister in law. Sis in law, you won't hate me for that mistake, will you?"

Before Yun Xuan could answer, Tyler held Yun Xuan's hand and shooed Ruolin away. "Where is your boyfriend? Go find him or go home on your own. I'm going with my sweetheart."

"Brother, how could you be so mean?" Ruolin pouted. Tyler didn't have any of it, instantly taking Yun Xuan away.

Although Tyler had cleared the air just now, Yun Xuan just couldn't stop herself from thinking that the godsister Ruolin's eyes held a certain degree of hatred towards her.

She didn't want to think too much into it and started the engine. "Where do you want to go?" she asked the man in the passenger seat.

He had his eyes closed revealing his dark circles. Probably because of the long night flight, he looked very tired. "My apartment."

Yun Xuan didn't bother him too much despite his grumpy mood today. He had worked very hard and probably boarded the first flight out right after completing his mission just to celebrate her victory with her.

She sighed in shame. She hadn't won the award in the end. Had he rushed over all for nothing? Would he be angry with her for making him rush overnight for nothing? All those self conscious thoughts kept running in her mind.

Tyler woke up just as they arrived at his home. He looked slightly more lively and energized. Sure enough, his bad mood was due to his lack of sleep.

Yun Xuan's heart ached for him. "Why don't you go to sleep first. I'll prepare some food for your breakfast."

Tyler wanted to reject the offer and call the chef instead but couldn't say no to her bright eyes.

"Thanks for the trouble then. I'll leave the door to my room open. Call me when you're done." He went to his room to sleep a little.

Yun Xuan saw how rushed he was to sleep and pitied him. She decided that she would cook slowly and allow him more time to rest.

She went to the kitchen and checked the ingredients.

She fell deep into thought. She had not yet said yes to him. What was their relationship now? Friends? What would they become then if she said yes? Why was she in a man's house and even cooking when they were not married? She remembered how in their second meeting she already spent the night in his house and caused such an embarassing ruckus. Did he think she was an easygoing girl?

Maybe she should just wait and find out what he thinks about her from his reactions.

Yun Xuan checked the time and decided to let him sleep a while longer. The dishes could be warmed when he woke up.

After thirty minutes, she went to wake him up. She stood nervously at the door before pushing it open. The man way lying shirtless on the bed. Yun Xuan frowned. He knew she was going to wake him up. What was he doing exposing his chest like that? Trying to seduce her with his firm muscles? The man opened his eyes. He was a very light sleeper and instantly woke up when he felt someone enter his room.

"You're awake." she smiled.

He smiled back. "I'll take a shower and be there in a short while."

Yun Xuan tried not to imagine him in the shower and nodded. She left the room at lightning speed and almost tripped. That smile just now! Was he trying to charm her to death?

The man smiled at her fleeing back.
