After leaving the civil affairs bureau, Lu Aotian held his wife's hand and led her to his car. That soft hand...holding it for the second time made his heart feel warm and complete. Her scent wafted into his nostrils, it was mild and incredibly sweet.

She smiled nervously revealing her delicate white teeth. He swallowed hard as he gazed at her. 'Such beautiful lips... I wonder how they taste.' Gah! Did he just think about her kiss?

Their marriage was akin to a contract. It would be best if they don't fall in love. Heh, don't fall in love? Neither of them knew it but maybe it was too late to say that.

Wan Jia's heart raced as her husband helped her into the passenger seat and fastened her seatbelt. They were so close, just a slight move and their chests would touch. They were both silent for the entire drive home.

Southside Villas was the most luxurious residence in the country. It only had four villas, each one of them costing a fortune and housing the most influental people. The most expensive and luxurious of them all was villa number 4, Lu Aotian's villa. It was also the newest, only five years old and rumor had it had been specifically built for Lu Aotian. It screamed of luxury all the way from the entrance to the interior. Wan Jia could swear that any random item in the house would possibly be enough to repay every cent used for her upbringing.

Lu Aotian beside her was a little surprised by her extremely awed reaction. As General Yun's daughter, what sort of luxuries had she not seen? Her father's mansion could not be too luxurious due to his and his wife's positions, but it was still considered very expensive. Surely his daughter shouldn't look this shocked?

"You like it?"

"Yeah..." Wan Jia was still in a daze and taking very nervous steps. If she accidentally destroyed anything, even selling her off wouldn't be enough compesation. The extremely proffessional servants welcomed them home and went about with their duties as Lu Aotian showed Wan Jia to her room on the second floor before going to his own room.

'This is MY ROOM?' she wondered. 'He means this is my castle, right?'

The room was quite girly, pink being the main colour and everything being either lacy or fluffy. She glanced at her supposed bed which would probably make her appear like a pin and took a tour to her bathroom which was as big as someone's room and was filled with the type of toiletries that she used, wonder how he knew.

Her walk in closet was filled with all sorts of luxurious dresses for different occassions, accessories, bags and shoes. So this is how the rich live.

Wan Jia took a shower and wore a little silky nightdress. She lay on the bed nervously. The room was so big she was scared of being alone.

How could Lu Aotian let her stay alone in a room almost bigger than her former apartment? Was he trying to kill her? She subconciously wondered how big his own room was.

That's right! She had an idea. It was their wedding night, right? They should be sleeping in the same room. With this thought, Wan Jia bravely got out of bed and knocked on Lu Aotian's door.

The door opened revealing a freshly bathed Lu Aotian. His black hair was still a little damp, a single water droplet rolling down his neck all the way to his bare chest and even lower...

Wan Jia unconciously bit her lower lip as she followed the water droplet down his stomach....all the way till it disappeared into his towel.

Eer... was that towel even well wrapped? Why did it look like it would fall if he made a step foward? Her breathing unknowingly hastened as she got tempted to glance at his forbidden territory. Her cheeks flushed at her stupid thoughts.

She looked up at Lu Aotian who was staring at her. 'Did he catch me checking him out? How embarassing.' She felt her ears heat up. Who could break this awkward moment?

Just as she was about to faint, Lu Aotian's sexy voice sounded in her ears. "Do you need something?" Ah ah ah! He sounded so seductive she almost screamed.

"No, no. I just.....I came to....to say goodnight." She lied swiftly. If they were to spend the night together in this situation, who could she blame if anything happened?

Lu Aotian knew she was lying but didn't expose her little lie and kissed her forehead before letting her leave. He went right back to the bathroom to take a cold shower once she left. Could someone explain to him what was going on? Such a beautiful girl coming to his room in the middle of the night wearing such a sexy nightdress? It was made of silk and perhaps she didn't notice it herself but it actually highlighted her chest and as for the length.... those long fair and beautiful legs could definitely drive anyone nuts. To make it worse, that beautiful goddess was his wife and it was their wedding night!

Ignoring her appearance was possible, but how about the fact that she was obviously checking him out? This was definitely going to be one long wedding night.
