Chen Lihua was taken unawares, so she stayed in his embrace for five seconds before struggling to come down, but Liu Longwei didn't let her come down.

So he apologized softly in her ears when he saw that she was angry and throwing a tantrum, "Am sorry for bullying you, it won't happen again".

She heard the apology and so she stopped moving. But she complained, "You are sweaty, so am I, and it's making me uncomfortable. So let me down".

Liu Longwei didn't bulge. With her in his embrace, he continued walking forward.

"You're tired and weak, so just endure it".

Chen Lihua looked around her surrounding and said, "Drop me quickly, we are already the center of attention, look, everyone is looking at us".

Liu Longwei didn't even bother to look around, but he dropped her and said, "Let's get into the car then".

"No. The sweat is already gumming to my body and it's making me so uncomfortable. So the car's AC will make it worse". Chen Lihua grumbled.

Liu Longwei dragged her and started walking backwards, "Don't worry, the AC won't be turned on. The car windows will be opened to let the natural air come in. Then once we get home, you can have a long shower".

Just then, the car stopped and one of the bodyguard's came down to open the car door for them, and Liu Longwei stuffed Chen Lihua inside immediately without giving her the opportunity to complain more.

In less than three minutes, they got home. And Chen Lihua came down from the car and dashed into the house immediately, leaving her husband to find his way in.

Chen Lihua had a long shower. By the time she came out from the bathroom she kept screaming 'Shit! Shit!' Because she saw the time and knew she was late for work. So she dressed up in a rush and ran downstairs.

Liu Longwei was sitting at the breakfast table drinking a cup of coffee, while at the same time waiting for Chen Lihua to come downstairs so they would have breakfast together, only for him to see a woman flying down the stairs while shouting ''Am late! Shit Am late'' till she left the house.

Liu Longwei had coffee in his mouth when he saw Chen Lihua like that. So he had a hard time swallowing the coffee.

With the speed Chen Lihua flew down the stairs, he was totally shocked because that was the same woman who nearly fainted while jogging that same morning, and now she was seen flying down the stairs at an incredible speed just because she was late for work.

He was indeed surprised. Liu Longwei looked at his casual wear, and suddenly remembering something, he quickly went after Chen Lihua.

When he caught up to Chen Lihua, she was already in her car and about to drive off. So he signalled the bodyguards to stop her.

Chen Lihua was quite pissed off already, being suddenly stopped when she was in a hurry to leave, but she wound down her car window looking angry as she stared at the bodyguard.

The bodyguard was really nervous deep down his heart, but remained composed as he told Chen Lihua that Liu Longwei wanted to see her.

So Chen Lihua opened her car door and came out and saw Liu Longwei walking towards her at a normal pace. So she frowned, "Longwei am already late for work. What do you want to say to me?"

With his hands in his pocket, Liu Longwei walked to her steadily, "You don't need to go to work today. I took a leave of absence on your behalf. Follow me to some place, it's very important".

"What?" Chen Lihua that was breathing fast asked in astonishment. It was as if Liu Longwei was playing pranks in her. So Liu Longwei repeated the sentence again.

Chen Lihua stared at him in shock because just a minute ago, she behaved like a mad woman because she was in a hurry to go to work that she didn't need to go to for the day.

While she was staring at him, she took her situation into consideration to know if she deserved what just happened.

When she was done staring at him, she was a bit embarrassed. So she took her handbag and lab coat from the car.

She closed the car door with one hand. Then she walked to Liu Longwei, pushed her handbag and lab coat onto his chest before walking inside the house immediately without saying anything.

Liu Longwei took his hands out of his pockets to hold her things. Then he smiled as he watched her walk off while swaying her hips, before following behind her.

Chen Lihua was already feasting at the dining table when he came in. So he handed her properties to a maid to send to her room, before joining her at the breakfast table.

Then he started apologising, "Am sorry for not notifying you on time".

Chen Lihua nodded in understanding.

While they were having their breakfast, Liu Longwei noticed that she didn't touch any of the soya and dairy products laid in front of her. So he asked her about it and she said without looking at him.

"My chest has increased in size and because of that, my traditional wedding reception dress has to be altered. So if it keeps increasing again till the wedding day, it will be troublesome".

"Oh!" Liu Longwei said in understanding and no longer disturbed her.

Throughout that day, Liu Longwei and Chen Lihua stayed at home.

But the difference between those two was that Chen Lihua was busy sketching some illustrations on her sketch book.

But as for Liu Longwei, he was very busy with phone calls and so he kept on giving out instructions each time the calls came.

He seemed to be planning something.

There was a time he left the house and came back three hours later.

When the time was close to 5pm, some people came to the house for Chen Lihua.
