Then the old lady faced Lady Chen, "Ju Ju it's been a long time since I last set my eyes on you. You don't visit anymore".

Lady Chen giggled before speaking up, "Heh! Old lady, I should be the one saying that. You travelled without telling me. I only found out about that after I visited without seeing you".

The four women sat down to continue with their talk.

"Then I am at fault". The old lady said in admittance.

The four women laughed joyfully.

Just then, someone knocked on the door before opening it. The person was a lady, who just came in to drop refreshments. So after placing the tea and pastries in front of the old lady and madam Liu.

Not long after that, another lady came in with two young guys pulling something. Actually, they were pulling a mannequin placed on a kind of trolley.

And on that mannequin stood an eye-catching dress. A dress that would make people marvel just at first glance.

So the four ladies had their focus on the beautiful gown till it was placed in the middle of the room.

At the snap of the fingers of the female attendant, the young guys left, and two other ladies came in.

The stunning gown just stood in the middle of the room with admirers looking at it in awe.

The long red qipao vestido oriental styled dress with Mandarin neck was really beautiful. A Dragon and Phoenix embroidery was done with twenty four carats of Gold. The dress was really stunning.

So the old lady stood up and ran her hands through the dress with a pretty smile on her face. You could tell that she was satisfied with the dress.

"Ju Ju you have an excellent taste. The dress is luxurious. With just a glance, I can tell that our beautiful Lihua will look even more beautiful in it".

Then she said to Lihua, "Lihua dear, come and try the dress immediately, I can't wait to see how you will look in it".

Chen Lihua was still looking at the dress and was like, 'It's this dress for me?'

The question was not in the sense that she found the dress beautiful, but because she felt some kind of emotions going through her heart.

She couldn't believe that she was now looking at Chinese traditional wedding gown, and that makes her to be aware that her wedding was already around the corner.

Well, she really liked the dress, even though she didn't know if it would fit or look good on her because she has never tried that kind of dress on before.

So on the Old Lady's urging, she stood up and so she was taken to another fitting room inside the room and helped to change by the three ladies that worked there.

When they ladies wanted to help her remove her clothes, Chen Lihua became a little embarrassed as she felt uncomfortable stripping before people she didn't know. But she let them do their work.

So in no time, they helped her wear the qipao and her shoe.

The gown was well fitted on her.

Another reason she liked the gown was because it could pass as a white wedding gown if not the colours and the Chinese style. Because the gown was flowing freely on the floor.

So, they let Chen Lihua see herself in a standing mirror, and she smiled as she looked at herself and touched her dress.

Before she could even finish admiring herself, she already heard voices from outside that was urging her to come out.

So the attending ladies helped her out of the fitting room.

When the three women saw her, they circled around her and praised her, saying she looked beautiful.

Madam Liu praised Lady Chen for high and unique taste and the money she spent on the dress.

And Lady Chen smiled happily as she replied, "Twenty four carats of Gold is nothing. I only have one child. So if I don't spend my money on her, who will I spend it on? Marriage is like a once in a lifetime affair that occurs in one's life. And as brides, you would wish for your wedding to be perfect. So I want my daughter to look beautiful, stunning and breath-taking on her day".

Everyone in that room was really touched by Lady Chen's word, they were all emotional, including Chen Lihua who was already on the verge of crying.

So Lady Chen smiled and wiped her tears with her hands and threatened her, "Silly child, when did you turn to a cry baby? You'd better stop crying otherwise, I will call your husband to complain, and also send him pictures as prove for my complaints".

Chen Lihua became unemotional the moment she heard those threats. It's not like she has enough face to lose, so she'd better treasure the little one she has.

So she stopped crying immediately and even wiped her tears as if nothing happened earlier.

Everyone in the room smiled including the attendants who could barely hold their laughter in.

The old Lady was about berating Lady Chen for threatening Chen Lihua. But when she saw that the empty threat was of no harm, and that it actually worked on Chen Lihua, she let the matter go. So she praised Chen Lihua again before sitting on the sofa.

Another gown was brought for Chen Lihua to try on. It was a gown described by Lady Chen as the first reception gown.

It was a white off-shoulder flowery lace wedding formal dress with long sleeves and a train.

The beautiful gown was made with the highest grade of chiffon material. The gown was indeed another luxurious one.

So Chen Lihua was taken into the fitting room once again and helped to change out of the first cloth into the second dress.

When Chen Lihua came out of the fitting room, her hands were covering her chest, so Lady Chen asked her to remove her hands.

"The dress is beautiful, so what are you covering up?"

"The chest area is a little tight". The first attendant replied on her behalf.

"Lihua take your hands off your chest, so I can see where the problem is". Lady Chen said.
