Chen Lihua took a deep breath before saying, "Ok, but don't go too far".

Having heard a positive reply from her, Liu Longwei felt happy and excited, and also suddenly liked Chen Lihua more because she was willing to compromise for his sake.

But just as he was about laying his hands on her, Chen Lihua reminded him in a soft tone, "Switch of the lights".

Liu Longwei knew that his wife was already a shy person and isn't used to it. So he switched off the lights before continuing with his work.

But that didn't end there as Chen Lihua insisted that he covered them with the duvet.

Liu Longwei could only listen to her as he was getting impatient.

In the middle of their makeout session, Liu Longwei wanted Chen Lihua to touch him, but the latter refused. Liu Longwei even tried using her hands to caress his body, but she withdrew her hand from his grasp.

Liu Longwei found the situation weird, and so he asked, "Why do you refuse to touch me, don't you like my body?".

Chen Lihua was silent for some seconds before explaining, "I like your body, it's muscular and sexy. But it's just that I feel so embarrassed touching you just like that, am not used to it".

"You have to get used to it. Just see the way I touch you and you like it and get turned in. So don't you want me to experience the same feelings as you when I caress you?". Liu Longwei said as his eyes glued on hers.

"jeez!". Chen Lihua exclaimed, which meant that she was getting pissed off.

"Am not in the mood now as I've been stressed out lately. But once we are wedded, I will naturally touch your body".

"I didn't know you were tired. So that's why you've been responding slowly to my touches. You should have told me earlier about, then I wouldn't bother you. By enduring this, it makes me look like an inconsiderate person".

Liu Longwei said.

Then he sat up on the bed. While helping Chen Lihua to tidy her clothes, he said, "I won't disturb you again. So sleep".

After helping her with her dress, he climbed off the bed and went into the bathroom. And Chen Lihua could only watch on.

She kind of knew what he went into the bathroom for. So, she felt pity on him and almost called him back, but she held herself back while consoling herself by saying she would make it up to him after their wedding, in which she really did so.

The next morning, they whole family gathered together to have breakfast. One or two jokes were cracked, and every one laughed heartily except for Liu Longwei who looked as if he was forced to laugh because he only gave a smile.

After breakfast, the old lady smiled at Chen Lihua before praising her for the first time gifts she bought. Since the old lady really liked the tonics so much, she was naturally happy and satisfied with Chen Lihua, because the latter bought fruits and tonics which were beneficial to health.

Even though the gifts might look small, the old lady understood Chen Lihua's intentions because the latter placed an importance to their health and so valued the gifts.

Chen Lihua smiled and replied, "Granny you don't have to thank me as this is the least I could do. If you thank me for these little gifts, then I won't feel like your granddaughter-in-law anymore".

Everyone laughed heartily including the old lady. Then she said, "look at your mouth, you talk just like your mother".

Then with a smile, the old lady continued, "When will Ju Ju return to the screens again?, it's been ages since I last saw her acting skills on the screens".

Chen Lihua first took a deep breath before answering with a smile, "Granny my mother hasn't mentioned about returning to the screens for a long time, so I don't know her thoughts on it".

"OK, I think I have to ask her myself. Her acting skills in the series 'Lady Chen' brought her a lot of fame. And I don't know why she quit at the pick of her career. But all's good". The old lady said.

Yeah now, you all must have found out the reason Lady Chen is addressed as so. Lady Chen starred in a TV series where she answered the name Lady Chen. In that series, she was among the Imperial consorts. And was the Emperor's favorite because of her strong character.

Chen Lihua's facial expression changed, because she was the only one who knew the reason her mother quit her acting career to focus solely on business. But to not ruin the atmosphere and to avoid questions, she tried to keep a smile on her face.

But all these changes didn't escape Liu Longwei's eyes. He had a thought that Lady Chen quiting her acting career wasn't a simple thing. But he couldn't question Chen Lihua since she didn't tell him anything, so he let her be in order not to bring up any ugly experiences through his questions.

"Grandma, we have to go as we are both busy with our work. Lihua has an urgent meeting at the hospital in an hour, and I have something important to attend to as well". Liu Longwei suddenly said.

"Oh! You should have told me earlier so I won't keep our doctor here for a gist". The old lady said to him before looking at Chen Lihua, "Since you have a meeting at the hospital, then you have to hurry up and go. But you still have to visit me".

Chen Lihua smiled and nodded her head in agreement, "Granny don't worry, once I get the slightest chance away from work, I will definitely visit you".

The old lady was satisfied with her answer, and so allowed them to leave.

Before leaving, Chen Lihua spoke to her sister-in-laws and hugged the three little girls who didn't want her to leave.

So Chen Lihua had to squat in other for her communication with them not to seem distant.

"Don't worry, I will come back to take you out. But for now, Aunty has to go to the hospital to save lives".
