Just as Chen Lihua raised her glass as well, Liu Longwei snatched it from her. Next, he clinked glasses with Liu Liwei before gulping the whole wine down his throat.

Chen Lihua looked at him speechlessly ,but continued eating her food, totally ignoring the whole occurrence.

Liu Liwei had his mouth agape before grumbling, "Big brother what did you just do?, it's my first meeting with sister-in-law, and you can't even let me give a toast to her".

"Am her husband. So is it wrong for me to take a toast or a drink on her behalf". Liu Longwei asked.

Liu Liwei was left speechless, as he didn't even know how to refute him.

Liu Dongmei who has been staring at them while eating suddenly frowned and dropped her cultleries.

Then while giving glances at everyone, she sniffed the air as she said, "I smell something".

Then, Everyone paused with their eating and stared at her in confusion.

Liu Liwei sniffed the air as well. But as he didn't percieve anything wrong apart from the foods aroma, he said, "I didn't perceive anything wrong. Sister are you sure your nose is OK?".

"Of course my nose is OK, is just that I don't know why am the only perceiving it". Liu Dongmei answered as she continued to sniff the air.

"What exactly did you perceive?". Liu Huiling asked.

"Liu Dongmei then smiled, looking at everyone's faces, she answered, "I perceive older brother's jealousy in the air".

Liu Huiling closed her eyes for three seconds before saying softly, "I must have lost my mind for a moment to have asked you this question". And then, she continued with her eating.

The old lady laughed softly. But without saying anything, she continued with her food.

Father Liu was about putting food in his mouth when he heard the joke, so he sighed softly before putting the food in his mouth.

"You'd better not misbehave at the dining table". Madam Liu cautioned Liu Dongmei, and the latter smiled before continuing with her food.

Laughter escaped from Liu Liwei's mouth, but he was forced to stop laughing when Liu Longwei directed a glare at him.

Chen Lihua was trying so hard not to laugh, but she ended up choking as there was food in her mouth at the time the joke was cracked.

As Liu Longwei looked at how his wife was holding in her laughter, he should have felt angry, but he didn't because that charming face of hers intoxicated him, and so he rubbed her back gently and handed her a glass of water while saying, "If you want to laugh, then do it well instead of choking yourself".

Chen Lihua then received the water, thanked him and took a sip from it.

As Liu Liwei looked at his older brother's behavior, he felt that his treatment towards him was unfair because the glare he sent towards him could send a simple minded person straight to the grave.

But looking at this same brother of his was taking good care of his wife without cautioning her in the list, he felt that he was indeed pitiful.

After the hearty dinner, the whole family chatted for a while.

"Longwei the servants have sent your bags to the room, so hurry up and take Lihua to change her dress and sleep". Madam Liu said to her son.

There was a flash of surprise in Chen Lihua's eyes because Liu Longwei didn't tell her they were to spend the night there, and when did he pack her clothes without her knowing?.

Liu Longwei felt somewhat pleased when he didn't see Chen Lihua react to show that she wasn't aware of his arrangements.

So Liu Longwei held her hand and got up. Having said their goodnights to everyone, Liu Longwei led her upstairs to his room.

Chen Lihua looked around the room, and felt that if Liu Longwei ever change his taste in room deco, she would really give him a hats off.

The room had the same colors and patterns with his room in his Villa.

Chen Lihua sat on the bed, and started removing her jewelries as she praised Liu Longwei for his high taste, instead of asking about spending the night there.

Chen Lihua didn't ask because she felt that the situation wouldn't change if she asked.

Liu Longwei was surprised that she didn't bring up the topic of him not informing her beforehand about spending the night in the Liu Villa. And because of this, he felt that he was woman has grown up.

After removing her jewelries, Chen Lihua picked up her phone to order some things from Chen's mall.

Chen Lihua and Liu Longwei took their bath seperately.

Chen Lihua downed a thin night gown with the robe hiding her skin. And as usual, Liu Longwei wore a white set of pyjamas. And both lay on each side of the bed.

Since Chen Lihua slept earlier, she wasn't feeling sleepy now. So she just layed on the bed with her eyes opened.

"Baby can I touch you"?. Liu Longwei suddenly asked as he closed in on her.

Chen Lihua was first startled by the sudden body contact since she backed him and also with the 'baby' of a thing . But then she relaxed and asked, "What if I say no?".

Chen Lihua asked this question to ensure she had the right to decide on the matter.

"Then there won't be a problem, I will always respect your decisions". Liu Longwei answered without his deep voice.

Chen Lihua became satisfied at his answer.

"But we are in your family's house". Chen Lihua said worriedly.

Liu Longwei placed his hand on her arm and replied, "Don't worry, the room is soundproofed, and so nobody will here us".

Chen Lihua took a deep breath before saying, "Ok, but don't go too far".

Having heard a positive reply from her, Liu Longwei felt happy and excited, and also suddenly liked Chen Lihua more because she was willingly to compromise for his sake.
