Liu Longwei was very much satisfied with her attitude and so he smiled happily as he asked with a tinge of concern, "Chief surgeon's office, hope everything is alright with you?".

"Everything is good, just had a little meeting concerning some patients". Chen Lihua replied as she yawned.

"Are you tired, didn't you get enough sleep last night?". Liu Longwei asked when he heard her yawn.

"Am so sleepy right now, and you took away some of my sleep time". Chen Lihua confirmed.

"Oh! You're thinking about what happened between us last night? Then that's good, as this shows that you miss me". Liu Longwei teased.

"You'd better stop joking, this is work hours, and so this topic is inappropriate". Chen Lihua berated him.

Liu Longwei had no choice than to stop as he didn't want to annoy her. He touched his jaw with his fingers as he asked, "Have you had your lunch?".

Chen Lihua yawned again before replying with a little bit of tiredness "Am not hungry, I just want to take a nap".

There was a tinge of laughter in Liu Longwei's voice as he asked, "Sleeping during office hours, do you want to get fired?".

As she was now very sleepy, Chen Lihua replied him quickly so their conversation would end soon, and she would get a good rest.

"I can't get fired that easily because am very capable. Am worth a lot. Besides, I will just nap for 20 minutes. I will set an alarm for that, so you don't have to worry about me getting fired".

"OK then, take care of yourself". Liu Longwei wanted to end the call after saying this, but something else came to his mind, so he asked, "Do you want me to come pick you up after work?".

'Pick me after work, so you can come and set distractions to the hospital?'. Chen Lihua asked herself, and then she refuted by shaking her head and waving her other free hand, forgetting that Liu Longwei couldn't see her.

But she recovered from the trance quickly, and so she hurriedly said, "No need, I came to work with my car. And besides we haven't announced our marriage or wedding, so for now we shouldn't be seen together like that until we make an official announcement ".

"Ok". Liu Longwei said in agreement with her.

They two exchanged goodbyes before terminating the call. And so Chen Lihua's head dropped on her office table.

In the evening of the same day in Liu Longwei's Villa.

After having dinner, Liu Longwei said to Chen Lihua, "We have to go to your mother's place tomorrow to pick up your car. And at the same time greet her".

Chen Lihua sighed before answering, "OK. If my mother didn't buy that car for me, I would have given it out as I don't see the need to drive to card when some people don't have any. But to bad that am someone that cherishes gifts, and so I don't give my gifts out".

"That's so good of you. But in your earlier sentence, were you referring to me?". Liu Longwei asked as he gave her a stare down.

Looking at his facial expression, Chen Lihua laughed as she slowly explained to him, "I was talking about myself. I like giving because am privileged to have. But some people misunderstand me by calling me a spoilt brat. Some say am bragging about my wealth, while some say I came to show off. But all these has never made me stop giving, as it is one of the things I find joy in. So as am very busy, I don't usually have the time to visit the less privileged, and so I mostly do donations.

But sometimes I have to show my sincerity by visiting, which I do once in a blue moon".

"Wow!". Liu Longwei exclaimed before he continued, "This means that we are in the same shoes".

"OK then that's good. The more good we do, the more favours we attract. So let's not get tired of doing good". Chen Lihua said as she looked at him with an encouraging smile.

"That's right, you didn't gift me anything after coming back from your travel. Didn't you buy something for me?". Chen Lihua asked with a threatening look on her face as she demanded with her palms stretched towards him.

Liu Longwei coughed awkwardly before smiling as he held her outstretched hands.

"I bought you something, but I will give it to you later".

Chen Lihua stared at him, eyeballs to eyeballs as if to check if he was lying.

"Are you sure, you'd better not be lying to me".

Chen Lihua said after she had finished inspecting him as if he was an item.

"Yes yes". Liu Longwei said as he let go off her hands before gently rubbing her hair.

"Let's go to bed early so you would have the time to exercise a little before leaving for work". Liu Longwei said as he pulled her up.

Chen Lihua stood up with his pulling as she reminded him, "We will not sleep on the same bed till our white wedding is done and dusted. So hole you remember that?".

"Of course I do. Let's go". Liu Longwei replied as he continued pulling her till they got up the stairs before departing to their respective bedrooms.

The next day after work, Chen Lihua came to the hospital's underground car park. But she was shocked beyond measures when she saw someone already sitting in the front passenger seat of her car. She couldn't see the persons face as the person had his head lowered.

Chen Lihua nearly let out scream if not that she recognized the suit on the person is one she bought we her hard earned money, coupled with the hairstyle which she chose for the shameless person. If she didn't recognize all these details to tell who he was, then she must be joking with herself.

Chen Lihua was indeed annoyed for being scared out of her wits, and so she walked towards her car and knocked on the window.

It was then that the culprit 'Liu Longwei' raised his head. Seeing that it was his wife, he smiled handsomely as he rolled the car window down.

"Hello". He said as he waved his hand in greeting.

"Am not in that mood. How did you get into my car?". Chen Lihua asked as she stared at him angrily.
