"Boss is actually married?". Another person brought up this question with widened eyeballs.

"I think the only person that can answer our questions now is no other person than the humble Asst Duyi". Another elderly leader suggested.

"As for me, I will never believe that CEO Liu is married untill the most prestigious News network and news paper report it". A woman spoke up.

Dear lady don't worry because your wish will soon be fulfilled.

"Suit yourself then". A man said as he turned to look at the others, "I think we should at least inquuire about this matter from Asst Duyi.

The others looked at themselves and slowly nodded their heads in agreement. So as they turned around to ask Asst Duyi, they found out that they were all alone, nobody was on sight apart from the the two security guards standing at the entrance of the building.

Even the CEO's sports car that was parked close to them was no longer there.

As they looked at themselves in wonder, they began to ask themselves questions.

"When did everybody disappear?"

"My own question is, when did somebody drive the CEO's car away".

"I think the most important question now is, how long have we been talking?".

It was this particular question that made their brain to start boothing.

Then one of them suggested wiry a panicked expression on his face.

"I think we should all go inside before CEO Liu sacks us or ask us to turn in our resignation letter. But it would be good for us to be lucky to escape punishments".

Thus, all of them hurried inside, forgetting about the marriage talk as their jobs were very much important to them at the moment, as they didn't want to loose their jobs because of the CEO's matter.

Inside his office, Liu Longwei settled down on the work chair as Asst Duyi placed his briefcase on the office table before taking a step back with his back, straight.

Now that he had settled down completely, Liu Longwei neither had that love struck smile on his face nor a poker face. In fact, his facial expression was normal.

When I mean normal, I meant that a smile and a frown couldn't be detected on his face. His face was completely on the neutral side.

With his elbows on the table, and his fists on his jaw, he commanded Asst Duyi, "Announce that there would be a meeting in 30 minutes time. Only the managers and directors of all departments are to be present in the meeting.

So they should use an hour to get their reports ready".

After receiving the command, Asst Duyi bowed and left his office.

As he came to the secretaries desk, the two ladies and one male stood up to greet his warmly, "Good morning Asst Duyi".

Asst Duyi smiles before responding to them, "Good morning". And then, he got down to business. He relayed Liu Longwei's imstuctions to them, and only left after they announced the message through the intercom.

"Good morning to you all. With the CEO's command, there would be a meeting with the managers and directors of each department in 30 minutes time. You also have 30 minutes to get all your reports ready. Thank you".

Whispers could be heard everywhere in each department. They only quietened down when their superiors threw them threatening glances.

Glances which when interpreted meant 'They would be fired for disrupting and obstructing the company's work, and also suspended for disagreeing with the CEO's orders.

Their superiors hadn't even complained yet and they were already making animal noises.

It seemed like they need to undergo another training as it seemed like they have forgotten all their work ethics.

The managers and Directors of each departments breathed a sigh of relief as the punishment their Boss gave to them wasn't as heart wrenching as they thought it would be. If it were before, 5 minutes was all they need. So they tried all their best to out all their reports in order.

These reports partained to what went down in their departments for the past month Liu Longwei wasn't around. So he needed to check them himself, even though he didn't actually need to, to ensure that everything were in order.

After the meeting was over the faces of the managers and Directors were filled with a mixture of surprise and joy.

Their facial expression resulted from Liu Longwei's leniency on them during the meeting. He only chided them a little with a neutral tone.

So they felt that their Boss was even correcting them instead of berating them as he used to do.

They all felt that Lady Luck was on their side, and so this made them to have a second thought about the wife their Boss said he had.

They wondered if it was really true, but they didn't know.

When they saw Asst Duyi walk past them, they didn't dare to ask him about it, for fear that would definitely be fired on the spot. So they gave up on that idea and walked back to their different offices with different positive expressions on their faces.

During Liu Longwei's lunch break, he decided to phone Chen Lihua to know how things were going on her end. But she didn't pick up.

The call was only returned towards the end of his lunch break. But this lunch break had nothing to with Liu Longwei asked he could choose to take a break at anytime he wished.

He picked Chen Lihua's call on the first ring with a smile on his face, "Hello wife".

"Hello husband". Chen Lihua replied sarcastically. Buy deep down her heart, she smiled.

"You didn't pick up my call when I called, hope you're OK?". Liu Longwei asked as he shut his laptop down.

"Am all good. It's just that I was in the Chief surgeon's office when you called, and I didn't bring my phone along. So am sorry for having missed your calls". Chen Lihua explained and apologized at the end of her speech.

Liu Longwei was very much satisfied with her attitude and so smiled happily as he asked with a tinge of concern, "Chief surgeon's office, hope everything is alright with you?".
