Liu Longwei could not help but to say helplessly, "You are one weird Lady. Your temper is unstable. Are you stressed or are you on your period?".

"Yes, so what if am on my period, what can you do about it?". Chen Lihua questioned as she walked about in the study room.

This time around, Chen Lihua was really on her period.

"So you're really on your period? No wonder it seemed like you had eaten explosives. Am just wondering how you would react when you're having a mood swing during your pregnancy, you might even raise the whole house to dust". Liu Longwei said amusedly.

Chen Lihua said with a straight face, "Till that time comes, then we would know what I would do".

After replying, she sat back down on the chair before widening her eyes in shock.

'Did Liu Longwei just say something about period and pregnancy and then temper?. Who taught him that?'.

Then without waiting for his reply, Chen Lihua asked with a tinge of urgency in her voice.

"I think I've caught you red handed, so you better answer me honestly. How did you know that ladies tend to have mood swings during their period and pregnancy?".

Liu Longwei was quite for a while, while thinking to himself how he just foolishly got himself in trouble.

Having exhausted all her patience after not hearing any sound from the other end, Chen Lihua said sarcastically, "Not saying anything again? What? Guilty conscience?".

Liu Longwei really didn't know what to do again. He laughed helplessly as he said, "I haven't even answered you and your thoughts are already running wild. I have sisters, so whenever I visit my parents and grandparents, I often heared my mother talk to them over the phone and when they visit the house".

Chen Lihua heaved a sigh of relief without knowing. But Liu Longwei heard her and a small smile appeared on his face as his lips curved sideways.

"I thought you had gotten a girl pregnant and then abandoned her for some reason. And so my heart couldn't take it. If it was so, then I would rather have this wedding canceled than to allow an innocent child to be illegitimate".

Liu Longwei smiled as if he had just discovered something new, "It seems like you really like children a lot".

At the thought of children, Chen Lihua smiled more and her dimples were on display. But too bad that Liu Longwei was not around to see that beautiful smile.

"I don't just like them, I love them. Especially the babies, you need to see how funny and adorable they are. They can make you day with just their smile".

Liu Longwei said with a smile, "I can see how much you love children. You sound like a mother and you've trained kids before".

Chen Lihua's smile faltered, she became quiet before answering with a tinge of sadness in her voice, "I used to have younger twin brothers, I was 10 years older than them. But too bad they are no more".

At this point, Liu Longwei stopped smiling and asked calmly, "What happened to them?".

Chen Lihua sighed as she answered unhappily, "They were sick, so they died. They died before they could even celebrate their 1 year birthday".

"How come no one knew about them?". Liu Longwei asked in surprise.

Chen Lihua answered immediately, still with sadness in her voice, "If you don't want people to know something about you, you have to keep that thing away as a secret from the public. So the same thing happened to my mom. When she was finally pregnant again, she hid the pregnancy as she didn't want the sudden attention as she was a public figure. And luckily for her, she has a different kind of stomach, such that when she is pregnant, her stomach wouldn't show much and so you wouldn't tell. But since she was carrying twins she had to disappear for a period of time".

Liu Longwei nodded in understanding as he asked, "So that's why 10 years ago, your mother dissappeared from the public's eye for six months. So that was the time her stomach was increasing in size, and so she hid away because of it and to give birth as well?".

"Yes, so I interacted very well with them. I even helped to feed them sometimes. I would always carry them whenever I returned from school. I really loved them a whole lot. One of the twins died of an illness, and so the other followed suit out of depression". Chen Lihua explained as she forced her tears back.

"Depression?". Liu Longwei asked obviously not understanding.

"Yes, babies have emotions. They can feel joy, sadness, love and hatred from the people around them. So when one of the twins died, the other one felt the absence of the other and so followed suit. Even the warmth of his sister, parents and other people around couldn't stop him from following his brother".

At this point, Chen Lihua was crying already.

"Heh Heh Heh! You have to stop crying because this was something that happened a long time ago. You have to leave the things of the past in the past and focus on the present and future. Don't allow the past to drag you down OK?". Liu Longwei said as he tried to comfort her with those words.

Chen Lihua continued sniffing as she tried so hard to stop her tears, "That's why my mom became so heartbroken and always wanted to show me off as if I would disappear from her sight the way her husband and other two sons disappeared".

"Alright stop crying. We were talking about our wedding preparations, so how did the topic change to something that would even make you cry?". Liu Longwei said as he tried to cheer her up.

Seeing that Chen Lihua wasn't going to stop crying anytime soon, Liu Longwei decided to tease her, "If you don't stop crying, I will take it as if you want a child they will fill up that vaccum, and so I would have to come back on the earliest flight tomorrow to make you conceive quickly".

It seemed that this was the only language, 'teasing' that Chen Lihua understood because she stopped crying immediately she heard those words.
