"Now come over". Lady Chen streched her hand towards Chen Lihua as she beckoned on the latter to come to her side.

Chen Lihua lowered her head to drink her tea as she pretended she didn't see or hear anything.

Seeing that she was being ignored, Lady Chen said as she came over and sat beside Chen Lihua.

"You can pretend as if you didn't hear what I said as much as you want, but we must take pictures together whether you like it or not".

And with that, Lady Chen clicked on the camera icon on her phone. Seeing that it opened, she tapped Chen Lihua on the shoulder and said, "lean on me, close your eyes and give momma a big smile".

Chen Lihua sighed and did as she was told. When Lady Chen saw that she has gotten into position, She passed her phone to Madam Liu, so she could help them snap a few pictures.

After passing her phone to Madam Liu, Lady Chen quickly got into position.

'Chakam'. That was the sound which signified that the picture has been taken.

"Let me see". Lady Chen said as she grabbed her phone from Madam Liu's hands with a smile on her face.

When Lady Chen saw the picture, the smile on her face disappeared in an instant. She then focused her gaze on Chen Lihua.

"Hua'er I only asked you to smile, was it that difficult for you to do?". Lady Chen asked as she showed the picture to her.

Without taking the phone from her mother's hands, Chen Lihua peered into the phone to look at the picture and also to see what was wrong.

As she looked at the picture, she saw that she looked horrible in the picture, she looked as if she was being forced to smile.

Thinking that Chen Lihua had seen enough, Lady Chen snatched her phone back as she asked while frowning, "I asked you to smile and not to keep your face like someone who is being tortured and forced to smile at the same time. What I asked you to do was so simple, but you couldn't even do it. Learn to get into character whenever you're required to".

Chen Lihua sighed as she answered, "Mum am not an actress like you who could change your facial expression to match any situation".

"What are you saying, quickly get into character". Lady Chen said.

Chen Lihua frowned a little as she said to Lady Chen, "Mum I can't force myself to smile OK?".

Lady Chen retorted immediately, "There's nothing OK about it. If you don't smile, I will tickle your waist". Lady Chen said the last sentence with a smug smile on her face.

Chen Lihua had a terrified expression on her face immediately she digested Lady Chen's words.

Chen Lihua really looked frightened because of being tickled as she is very sensitive to it, and so she is always afraid of it.

"Mum please don't do that to me. Remember am your only child, and so you can't bully me". Chen Lihua pleaded.

"Then you have to give Momma a big smile. Also remember am your mother as well". Lady Chen said with a victory smile as she passed her phone to Madam Liu for the second time.

Watching the mother and daughter duo banter and argue with each other, Madam Liu smiled and really wished she could see her daughters soon because, the scene in front of her really made her miss her daughters and they way she bantered with them.
